OK Groomer (Blackie Dammet)

Anthony Keidis' of the Red Hot Chili Peppers was exposed to the parties of the stars at a very young age by his father, Blackie Dammet.

"He was my best friend. I dressed him like a little me. Made suits to match."

"Drugs were ok then in the 70's and I always had parties for movie stars and musicians at my house so naturally he was exposed. I gave him little hits of acid or marijuana and it was an ok thing back then.

I didn't want him to grow up hating sex and I was dating a lot of young girls, barely older than him at the time, so I talked to one of these girls and they had sex, probably 6 years before his classmates."

He was married to Peggy - real name Margaret - and they divorced when their son Anthony was young. Blackie has two children - Anthony who was born in 1962, and James, who was born in 1991. He lived in Los Angeles for many years and whilst living there, he changed his name from John Kiedis to Blackie Dammett. He raised wolves and wolf hybrids in Michigan in the 1990s. In 2007, he moved to Portland, Oregon.
