Zelensky appears to be giving this press conference from an underground train platform. Supposed to be from Kiev, but impossible to tell where it is.
Zelensky: We are expecting for 100% support from the UN Secretary General.
Zelensky: It's not only him [Putin], I think all who issued orders, these shameful orders to eliminate peaceful citizens, women, children and others, to be judged by the international court. We know how long it may take. We know how long the international courts work. We will wait. If not we, then our children.
Zelensky:Supply of our grain, wheat, oats, maize, we are one of the leading producers…these countries will not receive from us, there will be defect in some countries, there will be famine. this is what the Russian Federation did. The war in Ukraine is not just a war in Ukraine, through the blocking of food, this is not just a war in Europe, this is a war on other continents because of these steps; lack of respect to living things, to the world order.
Zelensky: If the Russian leaders do not loose complete connection with reality, they will not use nuclear weapons. Will it happen? Yes it may.
Zelensky: They [Blinken and Austin] should not come here with empty hands. We do not want presents or cakes. We're expecting specific things, specific weapons. I believe we'll be able to get agreements with United States for some part of the package of armaments we agreed to before.
