It doesn't matter where in the Universe you are, if a biological being is given time to evolve, the end result will always end up looking similar to a human being; head, neck, fingers, 2 legs, front-facing eyeballs (universal mathematics of evolution). Physicality wise, it is the optimal hardware formation. Why 2 front facing eyeballs and none in the back of the head? Forces you to socialize and make a friend to watch your 6, it's all built in for a reason.

The brain, or software, can configure in many ways depending on how the synapses bond together. Certain shapes and formations (algorithm) are more efficient than others and improves over time to provide more storage space and processing power.

Did humans eventually evolve from a certain tribe of monkeys though? Your guess is as good as mine because as I said, it all leads to the same hardware.

Never did the bar or club scene, as far as I'm concerned there is nothing more evil than picking up brain dead chicks at those places. I got high on mushrooms and a glass of alcohol looked like a black vortex sucking in all the light around it. Alcoholics had a dark aura emanating from them.

Ever think that a lot of people make the choice to go to those places and know exactly what they're doing? If they admit they have a problem that's one thing, but most will defend their behavior.

Fair enough. I was humbled by the harmful effects of alcohol from how it destroyed my father which led me to growing up with a single-mother. I've always had an aversion to it and disliked everyone that consumes it. Never had any friends since literally everyone drinks so I just became a hermit nerd. On the plus side, for my age-group, I look way better than most people for avoiding it.
