Your average Jew is mostly ambivalent to Jesus
Jews are taught to be skeptical of anyone claiming to be a prophet, so Jesus fits that category, hence the hullabaloo in ancient Jerusalem, from both a religious perspective and well as the clinging to power by the clerical class.
2000 years later, most Jews have Christian neighbors and get along fine with them.
