Left out the good part that I have been pondering for a few weeks. P-8's from Australia, Canada, along with aircraft from New Zealand and the UK have been in Okinawa at KAB for several weeks. The Japanese news said they were here to assist in monitoring the Sanctions placed on NOKO. Coincidentally, the Australians started leaving Thursday and the remainder to leave on Sunday. IDK about the others.
