In the French overseas territories of Guadeloupe, Martinque and French Guayana, the allegedly “racist” or even “facist” Marine LePen scored a surprise upset against globalist incumbent Emmanuel Macron. In Guadeloupe, LePen scored 75% to Macron’s 25%, in Martinique 77.5% to Macron’s 22.5% and 65% in French Guayana to 35% for Macron.

They estimate over 137,000 ballots were trafficked in Wisconsin. Joe Biden reportedly “won” Wisconsin by less than 21,000 votes. There is no evidence that any of the trafficked ballots went for President Donald Trump.

Lagarde Demands ECB Dissenters Keep Quiet As Central Bank Prepares For Liftoff

As members of the ECB's rate-setting committee prepares for the arduous process of normalizing monetary policy for the first time in nearly a decade (something they have hinted will begin later this year), ECB chief and monetary policy novice Christine Lagarde has apparently become so worried about dissenters undermining the ECB (and making her look bad) that she has instituted a new policy barring all talk about the central bank falling behind the curve from members of the executive board.

And in keeping with this policy, Lagarde has reportedly asked her fellow executive board members to hold back on sharing any dissenting views with the press, according to a Reuters report.

Unsurprisingly, this policy has rubbed some of Lagarde's fellow board members the wrong way, and now they're complaining to the press under the cover of anonymity.

So much for 'building a consensus'. Instead, policymakers say the policy incentivizes them to share their true thoughts with the press under the shadow of anonymity - otherwise known as a 'leak'.

The move also surprised many as the ECB devised a new communication strategy just last year after an 18 month review and such restrictions were not debated then.

Dissenters also wonder why Lagarde didn't impose this change 18 months ago during the official review of the central bank's communications strategy, which was finalized 18 months ago.

To be sure, supporters of Lagarde and the new policy say it's critical for the central bank to present a united front, particularly during periods of transition.

Supporters of Lagarde's request say that criticism delivered soon after meetings weakens the decision and sows doubt, so a few extra days simply allows the public to understand and accept the outcome.

"Once we take a decision, we should stand with it, even if some of us had different views," another source said. "The problem is that it's easy to say but next to impossible to implement."

But there was probably a more diplomatic option instead of telling dissenters to kindly keep their mouths shut. And like this first leak portends, there will likely be a flurry of additional anonymously sourced complaints about the ECB falling behind the curve, which in turn could unleash more uncertainty both for ECB monetary policy, and financial markets.

Russian embassy ‘under blockade’ in US – envoy

Ambassador Anatoly Antonov says that diplomats are receiving threats

The operation of the Russian Embassy in Washington has been effectively blocked by the US, Ambassador Anatoly Antonov has said.

“The embassy is essentially under a blockade by the US authorities. Bank of America has shut down the accounts of our general consulates in Houston and New York,” Antonov told TV channel Rossiya-1 on Sunday.

The diplomat added that the personnel have been receiving threats by phone and mail. “For some time, even the exit from the embassy was being blocked [due] to rather large protests. There were acts of vandalism, paint was thrown [on the building].”

Attacks on Russian missions abroad increased after Moscow launched its military campaign against Ukraine in late February. Vehicles were rammed into the gates of Russian embassies in Dublin, Ireland and Bucharest, Romania. Activists defaced mission buildings with paint in countries such as Austria and Latvia.

Many countries imposed sweeping sanctions on Russia, and several Western states expelled Russian diplomats, to which Moscow responded in kind.

Russia attacked the neighboring state in late February, following Ukraine’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements, first signed in 2014, and Moscow’s eventual recognition of the Donbass republics of Donetsk and Lugansk. The German and French brokered protocols were designed to give the breakaway regions special status within the Ukrainian state.

The Kremlin has since demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join the US-led NATO military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked and has denied claims it was planning to retake the two republics by force.

Elite Delaware Prep School Official Charged with Dealing Child Porn

An administrator at the Tower Hill School, an elite prep school in Delaware, has been charged with dealing child pornography. William R. Ushler, 53, was arrested Tuesday, the same day authorities executed search warrants at his Wilmington home and at Tower Hill School.

Ushler has been charged with five counts of dealing in child pornography, according to the Delaware Department of Justice. He remains in custody as of this time while bail has been set at $250,000.

In an email to the school community, the Delaware prep school stated that Ushler was immediately fired and has been barred from campus. He previously served as Director of Upper School Admissions at Tower Hill.

“We were advised that law enforcement authorities know the source of the images in question, and these images do not depict Tower Hill students or children who were in contact with Mr. Ushler,” the email stated.

An investigation was opened after the Delaware Child Predator Task Force received a cyber tip line report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on April 14. The report was initiated by Yahoo! Inc., who indicated that one of its email users had transmitted files possibly containing child pornography.

The emails identified in the report included two from March 21 which showed a nude female who appeared to be 14 or 15 years old. Another email, sent on Aug. 10, 2019, showed an inappropriate image of a young teenage girl. Three more images of nude girls were found stored on Ushler’s iPhone, according to Fox 29 Philadelphia.

The Delaware prep school, Tower Hill, boasts numerous notable alumni, including Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) and PA Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Tower Hill’s latest child porn scandal is not its first. School officials acknowledged that Ushler’s arrest “may have reverberations and echoes” of a similar scandal involving former headmaster Christopher Wheeler.

Wheeler was convicted in 2015 on 25 counts of dealing child porn and sentenced to 50 years in prison, though these convictions were overturned by the Delaware Supreme Court. The court argued that the search warrants that led to Wheeler’s arrest were “too broad.”

The Media Doesn’t Want To Talk About Why These Educators Featured On ‘Libs Of Tik Tok’ Got Booted From The Classroom

Legacy media outlets were quick to condone the exposure of the woman behind “Libs of Tik Tok.” What they didn’t mention was exactly what the educators, who got fired after the account posted their videos, were saying to children in their classrooms.

The Washington Post’s Taylor Lorenz revealed the identity of the individual behind the “Libs of Tik Tok” account in an article published Tuesday. The article accuses “Libs of Tik Tok” of spreading “anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment” by causing teachers to lose their jobs over their own social media posts, although the article omits mention of the exact quotes that got the teachers fired. Media outlets, like Rolling Stone and The Advocate, expressed support for revealing the identity behind “Libs of Tik Tok,” but similarly do not mention the quotes in question.

The reality these media companies chose to hide was that the educators were dismissed, reassigned or forced to resign for everything from blaming kids for getting molested to suggesting people who didn’t get the vaccine should be slaughtered.

“Libs of Tik Tok” highlighted philosophy professor Dr. Stephen Kershnar of the State University of New York (SUNY), who was assigned new duties after the account shared a video of him stating that it was “not obvious” that sexual attraction to children was a bad thing.

“Imagine that an adult male wants to have sex with a 12-year-old girl, imagine that she is a willing participant,” Kershnar said in videos obtained by “Libs of Tik Tok.” “A very standard, very widely held view that there’s something deeply wrong about this and it’s wrong independent of it being criminalized. It’s not obvious to me that it is in fact wrong.”

Kershnar is the author of the 2015 book “Pedophilia and Adult–Child Sex: A Philosophical Analysis.” The book claims to look “at the moral status of such adult-child sex.”

In a statement, SUNY President Stephen H. Kolison, Jr. said he found the content of Kershnar’s video “abhorrent.” Kolison also said Kershnar would be assigned new duties that would not allow him on campus nor to interact with students.

Old Dominion University’s (ODU) Dr. Allyn Walker was placed on administrative leave for defending “Minor-Attracted People (MAPs).” Walker argued in an interview that the stigma surrounding MAPs is an issue. Walker instead put forth the idea that MAPs should undergo “affirming therapy” in order to develop “strategies for non-offending.”

ODU released a statement saying that Walker’s book and research led to student safety concerns and had “disrupted the campus and community environment.” As a result, Walker was placed on administrative leave in November, 2021.

Former Guantanamo Bay detainee sues Canada for $35 million over 14-year imprisonment

Mohamedou Ould Slahi says Canadian authorities contributed to his detention

A man who spent 14 years imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay is suing the Canadian government for $35 million for its alleged role in the series of events that led up to his detainment, during which he was tortured.

A statement of claim, filed on behalf of Mohamedou Ould Slahi in the Federal Court of Canada on Friday, argues Canadian authorities took actions that "caused, contributed to and prolonged [his] detention, torture, assault and sexual assault at Guantanamo Bay."

Slahi, a Mauritanian national, lived in Montreal from November 1999 to January 2000, during which time he was investigated by security services. Slahi, 51, is accusing Canadian authorities of harassing him during their investigation, with the stress forcing him to return to Mauritania.

The core of Slahi's claim is that Canadian authorities shared false information about his activities and otherwise contributed to events that eventually led to his arrest, after which he was transported first to Jordan and Afghanistan, and then Guantanamo Bay, where he spent 14 years imprisoned without charge.

"Canada's sharing of flawed intelligence sparked a vicious echo chamber," says the statement of claim. The suit was first reported by the Toronto Star on Saturday.

'Enhanced interrogation techniques' used

In response to a request for comment, a spokesperson for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service said they did not comment on the specifics of their operations or intelligence shared with partners.

During his detainment, Slahi wrote several books, including a memoir that formed the basis for the 2021 film The Mauritanian. Slahi is now a writer-in-residence at a Dutch theatre.

At the time of Slahi's arrest in 2002, officials suspected him of having links to terrorism, in part because he prayed at the same Montreal mosque as the attempted "Millennium bomber," Ahmed Ressam. Slahi said he had also travelled twice to Afghanistan to fight against the Soviet-backed Afghan government in the early 1990s.

In a court filing submitted Tuesday, Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, announced that the records a state court judge ordered to be turned over to the attorney general’s office are all in possession of the Trump Organization.

“After conducting a diligent search and review, Respondent’s counsel determined that Respondent was not in possession of any documents responsive to the Subpoena and that all potentially responsive documents were in the possession, custody or control of the Trump Organization,” Habba announced.

In February, New York Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron directed Trump, his two eldest children, and his business to comply with the subpoenas from state Attorney General Letitia James (D) as part of her probe into Trump’s business practices.

Trump is appealing the order that he sit for a deposition with James’s investigators.

Earlier this month, the attorney general’s office asked Engoron to hold Trump in contempt for failing to deliver any relevant documents after his lawyer confirmed to the court that he would comply.

James’s office is asking the judge to fine Trump $10,000 for each day that he has failed to comply.

A spokesman for James refused to comment on Trump’s filing.

Israeli attorney Moshe Strugano indicted in US for insider trading

US is seeking extradition of lawyer who has specialized in the creation of offshore companies; he could face up to 25 years in prison; he denies the allegations

An Israeli attorney who specialized in the creation of offshore companies has been indicted in the United States for alleged insider trading.

Moshe Strugano, 52, was charged on Wednesday with securities fraud and conspiracy to commit securities fraud in connection with the 2018 acquisition by Ormat Technologies Inc., an Israeli renewable energy company, of Idaho-based US Geothermal, Inc.

Strugano told The Times of Israel that he rejects the allegations.

According to the indictment, which was filed on April 14 but remained sealed until April 20, Strugano in 2017 received material non-public information from the head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Ormat, a large Israeli thermal energy company, about their upcoming acquisition of US Geothermal. He allegedly used this information to buy shares in US Geothermal before the acquisition was announced, then sold them immediately afterward, allegedly netting a $1.2 million profit.

US Attorney Damian Williams said in a press release: “As alleged, Moshe Strugano, a corporate lawyer, traded on nonpublic information for personal gain. His charged actions show a brazen disregard for laws intended to keep a level playing field for investors.”

“You only see things that reinforce your current behavior. And politically, we may think of it as the splinternet rather than the internet, because people are being divided by their behavior and their online activities,” Hoffman said during a recent interview with NTD Capitol Report.
