Johanna Garschina and her husband are grateful to have their son Teddy home. The five-and-half-month-old baby spent days in the hospital fighting the coronavirus. "His fever was over 103, and I noticed even more so, that he was having trouble breathing while we were waiting to be admitted to the ER," said Garschina.

They immediately put him on respiratory assistance, on oxygen," Garschina said. Doctors wanted to start Teddy on remdesivir infusions and steroids.

On Monday, remdesivir received FDA approval to be used for children as young as 28 days old who are hospitalized with COVID-19 or with mild to moderate illness at high risk for severe COVID-19.

"At that point, I kind of broke down as a mother, who did everything she could to protect her child, who did all the right things, who masked, who got vaccinated, who avoided large gatherings," Garschina said.

[note that Garschina and her husband also had COVID-19 and are recovering.]

[Do you think it's odd that the kid's name is "Teddy"?]

"It's wonderful because there aren't many treatments that are out there yet, particularly for younger kids. Under five years of age, they're not eligible for vaccines yet," said Dr. James Schneide

[so, we can't kill your babies with the vaccines yet, but the FDA gave us a way to kill your babies with remdesivir.]

[by the way, do you think it's odd that the photos of the family and the baby on oxygen and in an adult hospital bed with his father in the hospital have the same production qualities as the TV news shots of the doctor and other b-roll shots of the taped for the story, presumably well after the baby was supposedly released from the hospital and had recovered?]

[Is it legal for a TV Station to broadcast a fake news story that is clearly just a poorly acted, poorly produced commercial for remdesivir?]

I know the answer is probably: yes, sorry, but it's totally legal.
