They fail because only 5% of the people do 95% of the work, the other 95% of the people belong to some DS lodge or bloodline. These 95% are ignorant imbeciles that only have one job, steal the Intellectual Property of others, burn them out, and then try to make sense of it with one of clueless cronies. I can testify to this fact as I have worked at JP Morgan, Citi, Goldmann Sachs, Philip Morris, TIA-CREF, and a few others and have seen this recurring pattern. These 95% needs big bail outs to cover their big paychecks because the 5% that they steal doesn't cover it all.
