Osiris-Apophis (nee REX) to orbit Apophis starting in 2029. That gives it 7 years to nudge the Apophis orbit into the earth-impact keyhole for the next encounter in 2036.

That's called a gravity tractor. But, unnecessary if you have a tactical nuke (ahem,"RTG") detonated at the right point, while the view from earth is blocked by sunlight or the bulk of Apophis. The orbit change would not have to be much if done early enough.
