That depends.
Is that heathen following the path towards and by his heathen belief?
No.
Is that heathen following the Path away from heathenism by following in Jesus's footsteps?
Yes.
As to the "lost Christian",
there is no such thing.
Those whom Christ saved can never again be lost.
If one professing Christ becomes lost,
he has either not yet been inwardly converted,
and is thus still in his lost condition;
or he is one who will never repent.
As to "worthiness",
only Christ was worthy.
All those in Christ by the Faith of His Testimony,
are worthy by virtue of His righteousness accounted them.
No one apart from Christ is worthy,
since worthiness refers to having never sinned.
