Former president Bill Clinton called the notion of blaming the US for the war in Ukraine “the biggest load of bull.”

Clinton talked about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s deadly two-month-long siege of Ukraine during the annual Casey Shearer Memorial Lecture event at Brown University on Tuesday.

“It is not true that we did anything to isolate, humiliate or ignore Putin,” Clinton said. “That’s the biggest load of bull you’ll ever hear.”

“I do not believe that there was anything we could have done to prevent this. Ukraine needs to prevail.”

Russia’s invasion of its neighbor on Feb. 24 upended the post-Cold War security order. Putin, long bothered by NATO’s expansion to eastern Europe, says the operation seeks the “demilitarization” of Ukraine and ensure Russia’s own security. One of Putin’s demands has been that Ukraine drop its bid to join the western NATO alliance.

Clinton detailed how his administration started the process of admitting the Baltic states – Lithuania, Estonia, and Latvia – into NATO in the late 1990s.

“The idea that we were trying to jam Russia or isolate them … that’s just not true,” he said.

The former president said he met with Russia’s leaders 23 times throughout his eight-year presidency, including both former Russian President Boris Yeltsin and Putin.

“I made the argument to Yelstin, which was confirmed later by Putin, that there was nothing preventing them from joining NATO if they thought their biggest security threats were going to come from non-state actors.”

Clinton recalled his visit to Russia just a year before Yeltsin died, telling the then-president of his concerns about Putin’s disbelief in democracy.

“Putin did a pretty good job in his first term, he was exactly what Yeltsin wanted. He protected Yeltsin’s family, he was much stronger and aggressive, and healthier,” Clinton said.

“[Putin] never gave much indication that he was going to basically put kleptocracy on steroids or get rid of democracy.”

NATO ready to support Ukraine ‘for months and years’ of fighting

The bloc also aims to move the country to “more modern NATO standard weapons,” the alliance’s Secretary General said

NATO is preparing to support Kiev “over a long period of time”, for as long as the military conflict in Ukraine will last “for months and years,” the alliance’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Thursday.

Speaking to a youth summit in Brussels, Stoltenberg said that it is in the hands of Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop the military action as it was him “who started the war.” Therefore, Stoltenberg said, Western countries will continue “to put maximum pressure on President Putin to end the war” by sanctioning Moscow and by providing economic and military support to Ukraine.

“It’s a very unpredictable and fragile situation in Ukraine, but there is absolutely the possibility that this war will drag on and last for months and years,” NATO’s head explained.

Taking this fact into account, the alliance, and its allies “are preparing to provide support over a long period of time and also help Ukraine to transit or move from old Soviet era equipment to more modern NATO standard weapons and systems,” Stoltenberg said.

On Tuesday 26 April in an interview with newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta (RG), the Secretary of the Russian Federation’s Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, said that Russian experts are working on a project to back the Russian ruble with gold and other commodities.

For those who don’t know the name Nikolai Patrushev, Patrushev is one of the Russia’s most powerful security / intelligence officers and a close ally of Putin. After serving between 1999 and 2008 as Director of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) (the successor organization to the KGB), Patrushev moved to being Secretary of the Russian Security Council since 2008. In fact, Patrushev took over as Director of the FSB in 1999 from the previous incumbent, Vladimir Putin.

The Security Council of the Russian Federation is chaired by Putin, with Patrushev as Secretary, overseeing the Security Council and answering directly to Putin. The deputy chairman of the Security Council is Medvedev Dmitry, the former Russian president and prime minister. Among the other member of the Security Council are current Russian prime minister Mikhail Mishustin, and Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov.

So when Nikolai Patrushev says that Russia is working on a plan to back the ruble with gold and commodities, it is not just anyone saying this, it is being said by the highest echelons of the Russian Government.

Parents Fight Back Against Obscene Books in Madison County Schools

Parents in Madison County, Mississippi are fighting back after finding libraries full of sexually graphic books in their local public schools. After the school board slow-walked any response to parental complaints, parents packed their April meeting and a mother read aloud from the obscene books peddled to kids in Madison County Schools. Unable to ignore the heat, the board then placed the books under review and restricted check-out access, saying they plan to readdress the issue at their May 9th meeting. In the meantime, the ACLU is gearing up to oppose the parents.

Parents have united under the banner of “Madison County 4 Freedom” to take on an active role in the education of their children and the policymaking decisions that affect them, attending school board meetings and appealing to elected officials to fight for their kids.

After becoming familiar with books found in Madison County school libraries in October of last year, the group began appealing to the board as early as December 2021, but say they were met with stonewalling from district officials despite providing them with physical copies of the sexually-charged material and even a copy of the Supreme Court’s Miller Test for obscenity.

After months of inaction, the board finally announced in March that they’d be reviewing the books, but said they’d remain in circulation and available for kids to check out. That all changed this month, when Madison County 4 Freedom mom Lindsey Beckham read aloud from the “Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian” at April’s school board meeting, treating them to the type of sexually explicit content offered in their middle school libraries and airing the material out for all to digest.

Featuring passages about masturbation and having sex with trees, the book has been called into question in other districts as well and was even removed from middle school reading lists in deep-blue New York City way back in 2013.

“Yep, that’s right, I admit that I masturbate. I’m proud of it. I’m good at it. I’m ambidextrous. If there were a Professional Masturbators League, I’d get drafted number one and make millions of dollars,” reads a portion of the book that Ms. Beckham presented to board members. “And maybe you’re thinking, ‘Well, you really shouldn’t be talking about masturbation in public.’ Well, tough, I’m going to talk about it because EVERY-BODY does it. And EVERYBODY likes it. And if God hadn’t wanted us to masturbate, then God wouldn’t have given us thumbs. So I thank God for my thumbs,” the book, which also offers up CRT-style views on race, continues.

US State, Local Governments Helped Chinese Firms With $1.7 Billion in Subsidies: Watchdog

U.S. state and local governments have provided about $1.7 billion in subsidies to Chinese companies since 2010, a trend that must be reversed, said Robert Atkinson, president of Washington-based think tank Information Technology and Innovation Foundation.

“The official U.S. policy is to try to slow down China because they’re playing unfairly, if you will. So here we’re trying to slow down China, but at the same time, state and local governments are providing subsidies to speed up China,” Atkinson said in a recent interview with NTD.

China is known for engaging in a number of unfair trade practices, such as dumping cheap products in foreign markets, providing excessive government subsidies to Chinese companies helping them to gain market share, and stealing intellectual property (IP) and technologies. The Commission on the Theft of American Intellectual Property estimated in 2017 that the U.S. economy suffers an annual loss of between $225 billion to $600 billion from China’s IP theft each year.

The subsidy amount was tabulated by Washington-based watchdog Good Jobs First, a nonprofit that promotes corporate and government accountability. It found that China-based companies received over $1.8 billion in subsidies from U.S. government bodies from 1991 to 2020. The majority of the aid, about $1.7 billion, started flowing out of the United States in 2010.

The subsidies came in the form of tax credits, tax rebates, grants, loans, and property tax abatement. While most of the aid was handed out by state and local governments, some was distributed by federal agencies.

“Pretty much every state government and many local governments want to attract businesses to their borders,” Atkinson said. “They want to grow their economy, and by and large, they’re indifferent to whether those are American companies or British companies or Chinese companies.

“And so, they ended up actually subsidizing Chinese companies to come to the United States.”

According to the watchdog, two such companies are Chinese state-owned entities that have been identified by the Pentagon as having ties to the Chinese military—the Aviation Industry Corp. of China (AVIC) and China National Chemical Corp. (ChemChina). AVIC is also on the U.S. investment blacklist.

AVIC received a total of over $168 million in subsidies between 2009 and 2013, mostly in the form of tax credits and grants from the states of North Carolina and Michigan, according to the watchdog.

More recently, in 2020, the Iowa state government steered $717,355 in tax credits to Swiss-based agrichemical giant Syngenta, which is owned by ChemChina, according to the watchdog. The state government in North Carolina also gave Syngenta $155,594 in tax credit and rebates in 2019.

China’s Lenovo, a maker of personal computers that has received more than $135 million in subsidies as of 2019, has long been under the scrutiny of the U.S. government. In July 2019, the Pentagon’s Inspector General published a report (pdf) warning that Lenovo computers present an elevated risk for “cyberespionage” and “unauthorized system or network access.”

Atkinson said Congress could step in to prevent local U.S. governments from helping Chinese firms.

“Congress could pass a law that says, if you would like to continue to receive federal funds such as for highways, you can’t give money to a Chinese firm. It would stop tomorrow.”

White House communications director Kate Bedingfield, who is fully vaccinated and boosted, on Friday announced she tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus, noting she last saw President Joe Biden 48-hours earlier while taking precautions, such as wearing an N-95 mask and social distancing.

“This morning, I tested positive for COVID-19. I last saw the President Wednesday in a socially-distanced meeting while wearing an N-95 mask, and he is not considered a close contact as defined by the CDC,” Bedingfield wrote on Friday, crediting her “mild” symptoms to being both vaccinated and boosted.

The news comes just ahead of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD), which has raised concerns for some officials. Dr. Anthony Fauci, Biden’s chief medical adviser, will not attend the event, citing his own personal risk of contracting the virus.

While Biden will attend, he will skip the dinner portion and likely wear a mask when he is not speaking, according to White House press secretary Jen Psaki.

“He has made the decision he wants to attend, in a safe way, the White House Correspondents’ Dinner to show his support — showcase his support for the free press, for the work of all of you, for the work of your colleagues around the world to not only share accurate information about COVID but also report on the war in Ukraine and all of the work that happens every single day,” Psaki told reporters during Wednesday’s press conference:

Conservative MP Accused of Watching Porn in Parliament Chamber Named as Neil Parish

A Member of Parliament accused of watching pornography inside the Westminster Parliament Commons’ chamber has been named, ending days of speculation on the matter after claims emerged earlier this week.

Neil Parish, who represents the rural Tiverton and Honiton constituency and is himself a farmer, has been kicked out of the Conservative party after being named as the Member of Parliament accused of watching pornography during a House of Commons debate.

Parish has, in the parlance of Parliament, had the ‘whip suspended’, meaning he has been temporarily suspended from the governing Conservative’s parliamentary grouping. Depending on the outcome of an investigation he could be re-instated at a later date, decide to continue sitting as an independent member of parliament, or resign his seat. In some circumstances, the Parliamentary standards commissioner could expel Parish from Parliament, or his constituents could trigger a recall petition.

A spokesman for the Government’s chief whip Chris Heaton-Harris — the office responsible for discipline among party members in Parliament — said, per a report from The Daily Telegraph: “Having spoken to the Chief Whip this afternoon, Neil Parish MP is reporting himself to the Standards Committee of the House of Commons. Mr Parish has been suspended from the Conservative whip pending the outcome of that investigation.”

Earlier this week, it was reported two female Members of Parliament had reported a man for watching pornography in the Commons debating chamber. Opposition parties have called on Parish to resign since his name was revealed and have accused the government of attempting to cover up his identity. Prime Minister Boris Johnson had said the act was “obviously unacceptable” earlier this week.

Biden’s DHS Confirms Plans to Siphon Healthcare Services Away from Veterans to Illegal Aliens at Border

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has seemingly confirmed plans to siphon healthcare services away from American veterans treated at Veterans Affairs (VA) to illegal aliens arriving at the United States-Mexico border.

During a hearing before the House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas confirmed to Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) that the Biden administration is in talks with VA officials to potentially transfer doctors and nurses to the southern border to treat illegal aliens arriving every day in record-breaking numbers.

“Is the department planning to reallocate resources, doctors and nurses, from our VA system intended to care for our veterans to illegal immigrants at our southern border?” Hinson asked.

Mayorkas responded, stating that “the resources that the medical personnel from the Veterans Administration would allocate to this effort is under the judgment of the secretary of Veterans Affairs, who prioritizes the interests of veterans above all others for very noble and correct.”

When Hinson asked if Mayorkas had any conversations about the plan, he responded, “I have not personally, but of course, our teams, our personnel have. and I’d be very pleased to follow up with you.”

The remarks come as Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) had sought clarification on reports that the Biden administration was looking to siphon doctors and nurses away from the VA toward illegal aliens at the border.

“In the words of one [Customs and Border Protection] official, ‘We’re going to take medical services away from people that really deserve that, who went to combat … to give free medical attention to illegal migrants,'” Hawley wrote in a letter to Mayorkas.

Already, Americans are forced to subsidize medical care for illegal aliens to the tune of $18.5 billion annually. Last year alone, Americans footed the bill for more than $316 million in medical care for border crossers and illegal aliens who were detained in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.

College athlete suicide rate for 2022 already shatters previous years, as more data tie suicidal thoughts to mRNA injections

Mr. Thomas hanged himself in his off-campus apartment on April 26, 2010 at age 21. Scientists found that his brain showed early signs of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a condition that affects many football players due to constant high-impact collisions on the field. Mr. Thomas, however, had never been diagnosed with a concussion. CTE became a mainstream topic after the 2015 movie “Concussion” starring Will Smith.

Regardless, Mr. Thomas’ suicide was still shocking because of his age. It is also relatively rare for college athletes, particularly of Mr. Thomas’ stature, to commit suicide.

A 2015 study published in the peer-reviewed journal Sports Health analyzed the deaths of 477 college athletes from 2003 to 2012. There were 29 total suicides, and six suspected suicides among those deaths. Most of them (29) were men, and 13 of those were football players. Only six were women. Thus, about four college athletes commit suicide per year, with the vast majority of them being male. The study concluded that college athletes have a lower risk of suicide than the general population. Read the full study here.

That all being said, 2022 is already the most deadly year in history with respect to student-athletes and suicide. And of course, there is one coincidental common denominator this year.

Post-injection personality changes

Suddenly he started calling the non-vaccinated “idiots and morons” in his final months before dying. Former Sex In The City actor Willie Garson is perhaps the most egregious case. He turned into a completely vile monster on social media after his injections before passing away. Then there’s Mr. Clint Bearden, who was diagnosed with dementia 10 days after his Pfizer injection.

Turkish doctors published a letter to the editor in the journal Brain, Behavior, and Immunity – Health in October 2021. They described two patients who developed “acute mania with psychotic features” 24 hours after the Pfizer mRNA injections.

The first patient was a 42-year-old man. He suffered from manic episodes one day after his first Pfizer injection. The man checked himself into a psychiatric emergency room five days later. Doctors said of the patient:

“[He] was anxious and the mood was dysphoric. He exhibited a loosening of associations, described persecutory and reference delusions and displayed a lack of insight.”

He was hospitalized for several days. But at his 15-day post-discharge checkup, he had no recollection of the symptoms that landed him in the hospital.

The second patient was a 57-year-old man. He complained of suicidal thoughts and “thoughts of extinction” just hours after his first Pfizer MRNA injection. He stayed in the hospital for seven days.

The doctors posited that the mRNA injections “damage the central nervous system via autoimmune mechanisms due to excessive production and release of pro-inflammatory chemokines and cytokines.” Their alternative hypothesis was that “vaccination may also lead to neuropsychiatric symptoms by damaging thiamine metabolism.”

Trudeau Government Cites ‘Confidentiality’ to Avoid Explaining Its Use of Rare Act to Quash Freedom Convoy

The federal government claims that allowing lawyers to view secret documents would “entirely undermine the principle of cabinet confidentiality.”

Citing “cabinet confidentiality,” the government of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is refusing to disclose why it used the Emergencies Act (EA) to crush the trucker Freedom Convoy in response to a rash of legal challenges against its use.

Currently, four legal organizations are challenging the Trudeau government. The EA was enacted on February 14 to shut down the Freedom Convoy, which took to the streets of Ottawa for three weeks demanding an end to all COVID mandates.

According to a recent report in the Globe and Mail, court documents show that the “confidentiality” of what goes on in Trudeau’s cabinet is being used as the reason the government will not divulge details of why it used the EA.

Canada’s Evidence Act says that when a government wants to use “cabinet confidentiality,” federal courts will refuse to look at evidence relating to any cases.

Trudeau revoked the EA on February 23 after protesters had been cleared out.

As reported by the Globe and Mail, the Trudeau government will look to argue that because the EA has now been rescinded, the case is now more or less over.

According to a legal document, the Trudeau federal government claims that allowing lawyers to view secret documents would “entirely undermine the principle of cabinet confidentiality.”

Legal groups that have launched their own challenges against the use of the EA by the Trudeau government include the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA), whose federal court filing is still pending, and Canadian Frontline Nurses.

The Canadian Constitution Foundation (CCF) has also taken the Trudeau government to court for its use of the EA.

The provincial government of the province of Alberta is looking at joining the legal cases as an intervenor.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) is also suing the federal government for its abuse of the EA.

Civil liberties groups, including the CCLA, have called for an independent public inquiry into Trudeau’s use of the EA.

On Monday, Trudeau appointed a Liberal Party-friendly judge to oversee his government’s invocation of the EA.

Trudeau’s government was legally bound to announce an inquiry into the use of the EA within 60 days of it being revoked.

Report of active shooter at JBLM was ‘miscommunication’ during training exercise

A report of an active shooter Thursday morning at Joint Base Lewis-McChord was actually a “miscommunication” during a training exercise for active shooter situations, according to a base spokesperson.

Military police responded about 10 a.m. for a report of an active shooter near Lewis North, an area of the base northwest of Interstate 5 near American Lake. Police went to that area and found no evidence of an active shooter.

Base spokesperson Gary Dangerfield said someone had overhead “active shooter, active shooter,” while a unit was conducting training and called 911.

“Our military police were responding to a call and doing what they needed to do to secure the area and keep us all safe,” Dangerfield said.

Dangerfield apologized for the false alarm. JBLM was not put on an official lockdown, but the report caused some at the base to take cover.

Bruce Wong, 69, said his younger sister, who works as a special education teacher at JBLM, texted him at about 10:30 a.m., telling him she’d heard the whole base was locked down and that she was hiding under her desk.

“I started texting my family to make sure that they knew,” Wong said. “We had a whole set of text messages between our brothers and her: ‘stay under the desk, grab something just in case, barricade the door.'”

Meet the CCP-Loving Biden Donor Responsible for US Economic Interests in Asia

Biden tapped Dominic Ng, the chairman of East West Bank, to represent the United States on the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation’s Business Advisory Council, a group of business leaders that advises governments on issues in the Asia-Pacific region. Ng, who has led the East West Bank since 1992, contributed $100,000 to the Biden Victory Fund and $35,500 to the Democratic National Committee in October 2020, according to campaign finance disclosures.

Ng’s appointment means the United States will be represented by a consistent defender of some of Beijing’s most controversial policies. The role could also provide a boost for Ng’s bank, which lends heavily to businesses in Asia. Ng has endorsed China’s infrastructure program, the Belt and Road Initiative, and criticized the United States for refusing to join the program. He has sided with Beijing on other hot-button issues such as the origins of the coronavirus. Ng also criticized two Biden-backed bills to make the United States more competitive with China.

Ng is the latest Biden ally to land a prestigious administration appointment. Biden tapped his longtime friend, Chris Dodd, to serve as special envoy for the Summit of the Americas, a triennial meeting of government and business leaders from the Western hemisphere. Dodd signed an ethics agreement for the position, the Washington Free Beacon reported, because his lobbying firm represents several countries taking part in the summit. Biden also appointed his friend and campaign supporter Joe Kiani to serve on the Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Kiani has given $1 million to Biden’s family charity and bundled $1 million in donations for Biden’s campaign.

Ng served as chairman of the Committee of 100, a group of Chinese-American business and government leaders that one Hong Kong columnist has called "a pro-Beijing group, concerned almost exclusively with the interests aligned with those of the Chinese Communist Party."

Chinese president Xi Jinping praised the committee as one of the "friendly groups" that has championed positive U.S.-China relations. As chairman of the committee, Ng hosted Xi during a 2012 visit to Washington, D.C. The banker said Xi was "easy-going" and "attentive to his suggestions" to encourage Chinese businesses to invest in the United States.

The Committee of 100 has vehemently denied allegations that it is linked to the Chinese Communist Party. But officials inside CCP-controlled influence groups have worked closely with the Committee of 100. Ng gave a keynote speech at the committee’s 2019 gala, which was attended by the vice chairman of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, a group the State Department cut ties with over its links to the Chinese Communist Party.

The Committee of 100 is also linked to the China-United States Exchange Foundation, a Hong Kong-based think tank suspected of working as a front group for the Chinese Communist Party. Tung Chee-hwa, the founder of the foundation, has been described as a "supporter" of the Committee of 100. Ronnie Chan, who serves on the governing board of the foundation, is also a member of the Committee of 100.

Ng has also served on the board of directors for the Asia Society, a U.S.-based nonprofit that receives funding from several Chinese state-owned companies. Asia Society has partnered with China’s Confucius Institutes, which allegedly promote pro-Beijing propaganda at American colleges and high schools.

Ng has espoused views on U.S.-China relations that seemingly put him in closer agreement with Beijing than with Biden.

A biodistribution study of the Pfizer Covid-19 injection suggests a suspension of the use of mRNA ‘Vaccines’ is urgently required and blood donor organisations need to take a long hard look at their policies surrounding the acceptance of donations of blood from people who have received an mRNA based Covid-19 injection.

Do you remember when public health and government officials assured everyone that the mRNA ‘vaccines’ function like traditional vaccine technologies? …meaning that they largely remain in the shoulder muscle where they are injected, with some portion going to the draining lymph nodes where an immune response is initiated.

Well, back in May 2021, I, along with some international colleagues, looked at a document that Pfizer had submitted to the Japanese health regulatory agency. It was a pre-clinical biodistribution study. This means it was an experiment done with an animal model to predict where the vaccine formulation might go when injected into people.

What I saw was startling.

Most of Pfizer’s vaccine spread throughout the body instead of staying at the injection site. This also meant there was the potential for toxicities that would never occur with traditional vaccines that largely remain at or close to the injection site. To ensure people could make a fully informed decision about whether to take the jab I went public with this information in a radio interview.

I wasn’t surprised by the systemic distribution of the vaccine per se. Being a vaccinologist, I knew that lipid nanoparticle delivery systems were originally designed to spread far and wide throughout the body with the hopes they could be a vehicle for gene therapy and/or drug delivery.

Instead, my surprise came from the fact that the data confirmed my historical understanding and contradicted public health messaging that the mRNA jabs behaved like traditional vaccines. Public statements by health officials made me assume the lipid nanoparticles had somehow been modified to stay at the injection site, which was news to me. This highlights one of the first rules of thumb when practicing science.

Transparently presented raw and/or peer-reviewed data are the cornerstones of objective science; not personal proclamations or data disseminated via media releases. In May 2021 I realized two things: 1. There was a lack of transparency about data supporting COVID-19 inoculations. 2. Incorrect messaging was being relayed to the public. As an academic public servant with relevant expertise, I spoke up when enquiries came from the public. I spoke the truth then and continue to do so.

As a result of this, a public campaign to impersonate and discredit me was mounted; it has not stopped and has likely caused irreparable harm to my career. Nobody involved in these personal attacks has ever been willing to talk to me about the scientific basis for my concerns. It is unfair to discredit a scientist based on a short interview for a lay audience in which only a tiny fraction of the messaging could be relayed.

My challenge to detractors then remains the same now: if you want to prove that I don’t know what I am talking about, then debate me in a moderated public forum. I contend that a real-time back-and-forth discussion of the science will show that I know exactly what I am talking about; I’m not sure the same would hold true for most of those participating in the smear campaign against me.

Has Twitter Been Cooking Their Books?

Has anyone else been suspicious of Twitter’s flip-flop on selling the platform to Elon Musk? I’m sure I’m not the only one. I always felt that Twitter was far less valuable than what Musk was offering and was particularly surprised when a Twitter board member, Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, who is also one of Twitter’s largest shareholders, said that he’d reject Musk’s offer because it was too low.

“I don’t believe that the proposed offer by @elonmusk ($54.20) comes close to the intrinsic value of @Twitter given its growth prospects,” the prince tweeted earlier this month.

This claim never sat right with me. But adding to my suspicion was the sudden flip-flopping of the board to accept Musk’s offer after initially taking steps to prevent his hostile takeover.

So, why did they do it? Money, obviously. But why take an offer that Alwaleed bin Talal, who describes himself as “one of the largest & long-term shareholders of Twitter,” originally dismissed as too low?

To me, the answer is that the board knows that Twitter isn’t worth what Musk is willing to pay for it, and it looks like there might be evidence to back that up.

According to Twitter’s latest financial report, not only did the company not meet revenue expectations, but they also admitted that since 2019, the company has been “over-stating” how many users are on the platform.

“In March of 2019, we launched a feature that allowed people to link multiple separate accounts together in order to conveniently switch between accounts,” Twitter explains. “An error was made at that time, such that actions taken via the primary account resulted in all linked accounts being counted as [monetizable daily active Twitter users] mDAU.”

“This resulted in an overstatement of mDAU from Q1’19 through Q4’21.”

Based on their revised figures, Twitter now admits to having 1.9 million fewer global users in Q4 2021.

"Hate speech" doesn't exist in America under the First Amendment and for Kennedy to say otherwise should disqualify him from office.

Kennedy's position puts him to the left of Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

DHS Secretary Admits He Doesn't Know Whereabouts of 42 Illegal Immigrants on Terror Watch List

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted that he does not know the status of 42 individuals apprehended at the southwest border who were flagged for being on the federal government’s terror watch or no-fly lists.

House Judiciary Committee ranking member Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio raised the issue when Mayorkas appeared before the committee on Thursday.

“Have any of the 42 illegal migrants on the terrorist watch list or no-fly list encountered on our southwest border been released into the United States?” Jordan asked.

“I will provide that data to you with respect to the disposition of each one. I do not know the answer to your question,” Mayorkas responded.

“The secretary of Homeland Security does not know the answer to the status of 42 individuals who came to our southern border illegally [who] are on the no-fly list and the terrorist watch list,” Jordan said.

“You do not know whether they have been released or not into the country. That’s your testimony?”

Mayorkas reiterated that he would get the data to the congressman.

“That’s amazing,” Jordan replied.

During his opening remarks, the lawmaker argued that the current border crisis involving the greatest influx of illegal immigrants on record is “intentional.”

“It has to be,” Jordan said. “The chaos on our southern border is not an accident. It’s deliberate. It’s on purpose. It’s by design.

“President Biden on Day 1 said there’d be a moratorium on deportations,” Jordan continued. “He ended ‘Remain in Mexico,’ he terminated agreements with Northern Triangle countries and he stopped building the wall.”

Elon Musk Is a Former Klaus Schwab WEF Young Global Leader

Most of my audience is well aware that the World Economic Forum’s “Young Global Leader” initiative has yielded some of the most powerful people in the world. From leaders like Justin Trudeau and Gavin Newsom to tech giants like Larry Page and Mark Zuckerberg, the disciples of Klaus Schwab and the New World Order make up a huge chunk of control over our world today.

What many may not know is that Elon Musk is among them. I don’t hold it against you if you didn’t know because there seems to have been a concerted effort to hide this fact. Searching on Google and other platforms for information about just about any of the previous graduates of Schwab’s school of globalism reveals tons of information, but a similar search for Musk’s participation is conspicuously slim. I had to go back to a 2008 Bloomberg article to find it.

In an article titled “Young Global Leaders–Anderson Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio Are In The Most Exclusive Private Social Network In The World” by Bruce Nussbaum published March 17, 2008, it’s revealed that, “Elon Musk, the chairman of Tesla Motors, the much-publicized electric sports-car company, is a new YGL.”

As the billionaire pushes to buy Twitter outright, the vast majority of conservatives on the social network have been cheering him on. This makes sense considering he’s clearly trying to install a freer speech mentality there, denouncing censorship and claiming to be a “free speech absolutist.” But it must be noted that Musk is likely not the conservative hero many want him to be. In fact, he has a history of promoting anti-American ideas like Universal Basic Income, stronger economic ties with Communist China, and an outright embrace of a form of socialism that sounds an awful lot like the World Economic Forum’s push for “stakeholder capitalism.”

He seems to be making the right enemies in his bid for control of Twitter as both the U.S. government and hedge fund giant Vanguard have been making moves to block and/or intimidate him. That only endears him even more to conservatives, and while I think there’s a good chance he’s sincere, there’s also a good chance that he’s a shill for the globalist elites.

Big Data digital tools are developing rapidly, said the founder of the WEF. “Can you imagine that in 10 years, when we are sitting here, we have an implant in our brains, and you all will have implants – we can measure your brain waves, and I can immediately tell how people react, or I can feel how people react to your answers? Is that imaginable?”

“That’s imaginable,” Brin replied, then sketched a transhumanist future where consciousness is shifted to machines.

“You’re basically transplanted to the internet to live forever in the digital world,” he said. “In your biological incarnation, you can then become very old.”

Brin added that the direction of technological development is impossible to predict.

Lavrov: Russia Not Threatening Anyone With Nuclear War

The Russian foreign minister has called on all big five nuclear powers to commit to ruling out nuclear war.

Russia is not threatening anyone with nuclear war, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told Al Arabiya in an interview on Friday.

According to him, it is the West, along with Ukraine, which flirts with the rhetoric of "nuclear war".

"We never play with concepts this dangerous. Never. We must all be committed to the statements of the "nuclear five" - a nuclear war can never be triggered," Lavrov stressed.

He noted that it was Russia that had repeatedly push for the adoption of statements on behalf of all nuclear countries confirming commitments to no first-use of nuclear weapons. While the Trump administration refused to accept such statements, they were adopted following the first meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden in Geneva.

Lavrov went on to say that Moscow does not consider itself at war with NATO, since it "would be a step that would increase the risks of what we just discussed [nuclear war]".

"Unfortunately, there is a feeling that NATO believes that it is at war with Russia. NATO, the US, European leaders, many of which, in particular in the UK, the US, Poland, France, Germany and, of course, the head of European diplomacy [Josep] Borrell directly say that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin must lose, Russia must be defeated." the minister explained.

Lavrov also highlighted that Russia does not use foreign mercenaries, including those from Syria, in Ukraine.

"I can assure you that the Syrians have their own concerns," the minister told Al Arabiya.

The foreign minister then turned to the activities of US biological laboratories in Ukraine, saying Moscow believes they must be investigated. He underlined that Russia wants "clarity, and will insist on getting answers."

He also delved into how the Western sanctions, imposed following the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, have impacted the food chains, effectively becoming one of the causes of global food crisis.

"For example, dozens of foreign ships are blocked in the Black and Azov Seas on the territory of Ukraine because they are under sanctions. We are ready to release them, but the Ukrainian government is not cooperating with us on this issue," Lavrov said.

Commenting on the gas payments scheme proposed by Russia, the minister noted that the majority of Russia's partners have agreed to pay for gas in rubles.

Under the new rules, Gazprombank will open special currency and ruble accounts for foreign buyers to pay for gas. The buyer will be able to transfer money to the currency account, with the bank selling it on the Moscow Exchange. Then it will transfer the rubles to the account of the gas buyer, who can then finalise the payment with the supplier — Gazprom.

The main conclusion Russia has drawn, according to Lavrov, is that Moscow cannot rely on the West when it comes to strategic issues like food supplies, technology, the economy and others.

And while it is possible that ties between Russia and the West will be renewed, Lavrov stressed that Russia has to "be self-sufficient in key areas of the country's life".

‘They Want To Stifle Dissent’: DeSantis Declares War Against Biden’s ‘Ministry Of Truth’ At DHS

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis vowed to fight the Biden administration’s proposed Disinformation Governance Board Friday, which he said was an attempt to censor ordinary people and impose narrative control.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the formation of the board Wednesday, which will be run by Nina Jankowicz, a self-described “disinformation expert” who previously attempted to discredit the Hunter Biden laptop story. DeSantis promised to fight the board in a Friday press conference.

“You cannot have a Ministry of Truth in this country. And so let’s get real here,” DeSantis said. “We’re not gonna let Biden get away with this one, so we will be fighting back.”

Critics including DeSantis have compared the board to the “Ministry of Truth” in the novel “1984,” an agency that produces government propaganda and decides what citizens are allowed to say and believe.

“They now have an idea – and I honestly thought this was a belated April Fool’s joke – but they are actually going to create in the Department of Homeland Security a Bureau of Disinformation. It’s basically a Ministry of Truth,” DeSantis said. “And what they want to do is, they want to be able to put out false narratives without people being able to speak out and fight back.”

“They want to be able to say things like ‘Russia collusion’ and perpetuate hoaxes and then have people like us be silenced. They want to be able to advocate for COVID lockdowns, they want to be able to advocate for school closures, things that are not supported by the evidence. But then when you speak out, they want to stifle dissent,” he added. “And so we reject this bureau in the state of Florida.”

The board announced Wednesday that it would begin by focusing on Russian disinformation in the lead-up to midterm elections and misinformation aimed at migrants at the southern border, according to the Associated Press.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said it sounded “like the objective of the board is to prevent disinformation and misinformation from traveling around the country” during a Thursday press conference, but declined to comment on Kankowicz’ appointment, claiming she had no information about her.
