REMINDER
Hmmm. Anon seems to remember that Trump had merged the fed into the treasury and dissolved the fed. Yes? If so, then it is just a shell, yes?
>tithe
An oft-used tool of the greedy, lecherous false prophets. They should also be subject to the harshest penalty for their extortion.
DONT BE FOOLED
Tithing was a command for the Jews under the Mosaic law
(which Christians are not under because Christ fulfilled all the requirements of the Law and confers that to those who follow Him). Nowhere is it commanded of Christians that they must tithe (or give 10%).
Christians are told to give, but no amount is specified. That said, those who abundantly give will abundantly receive (not necessarily monetarily). However, many Christians do tithe 10% as they use the amount of 10% as a guide.
That said, Paul wrote to the Corinthian church in regard to giving to others:
>I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of othersโฆ.
>For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
>Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality.
(2 Cor 8 if ya wanna read the whole chapter)
Many false prophets use tithing as a tool to add to their greed.
Hagee is a debauched, disgusting (them) con man.
I've heard him preach that if you don't tithe on your gross that you are robbing God, and anon believed it because at that time, I was not studying the Scriptures for myself. That's my fault, not his.
Number one: you can't rob God because He already owns and controls everything.
Number Two: we are told to give out of our abundance, NOT out of what we don't have.
