An open letter to Amanda Marcotte & other slanderers,
Dear Amanda,
Your supposition and wild imaginings of what Americans mean when they say they're worried about America losing it's culture and identity are merely that, the supposition and wild imaginings of a person who no longer sees her fellow citizens as people deserving of either the benefit of doubt or faith that they mean what they say. In all honesty it is sad to see what has become of my fellow Americans who call themselves leftists, progressives or Democrat, particularly those in the media. As well as many on the right who also do the same, the vast majority of you who have acquired notoriety and a public platform have chosen to sling shit like monkeys at your opposition, watching to see what sticks, rather than elevate yourselves & find a path to diplomacy so we can better our country, our prospects and ourselves. It is a shame so many of you have run towards disparagement, slander & whatever else it takes no matter how low, to "win" or stay in power, even if it destroys this country & kills half our people in it in the process. And they are OUR PEOPLE, these people many of whom are not only God fearing Christians, but are also of every faith in between are the salt of the earth and the backbone of our Great Nation. From truckers & farmers to school teachers, Doctors, nurses and every other walk of life, this brilliant nation that was built upon the principals of FREEDOM of THOUGHT, SPEECH, RELIGION FOR ALL Americans, our 1st amendment as it is the most VITAL to a FREE & INDEPENDENT CITIZENRY. And quite frankly these days, the very people who should be championing our rights are instead serruptitiosly & overtly calling for it's destruction, most of them because they don't like the truth when it comes out, they seeem to prefer slander and innuendo disguised as "facts", which maybe explains this desire to destroy the constitution this country that has afforded you your lofty positions you sit up high upon whilst shitting on the average American. Your ilk have resorted to calling people of color "racists" & Nazi's for supporting a sitting President, who actually led a prosperous & internationally peaceful administration despite the nonstop shit flinging from political opposition and the media giants. Media giants (News agencies and Social Media) I 100% blame for the current division in our country for choosing to take sides rather than disseminating truthful information to the public at large as is their ACTUAL JOB. Truth is a 3 edged sword, your side, my side and the TRUTH in the middle, it is high time we started coming together and finding that truth in the middle before we destroy OURSELVES TOGETHER. This shining beacon on a hill known as America will cannot fall if WE THE PEOPLE STAND UNITED in OUR LOVE AND RESPECT FOR OUR FELLOW CITIZEN, despite our differences, THAT is the culture and identity we speak of and lament the loss of Amanda Marcotte and company, THAT and the FREEDOM TO EXPRESS OUR THOUGHTS without the SUPPOSITION, WILD IMAGININGS AND OUTRIGHT SLANDER that is.
