It's going to cost $80,000 to get a shovel into the ground to start a new house. I gotta put in a electric car charging station in and 200 amp. service. It is out of the range there and back from anywhere for all of the electric cars on the market and you need 4x4 to get there

I don't live there. Even with the house owned outright I couldn't afford to live there. Gotta make money and there isn't any where my property is. A friend set off my sprinkler system I had set up for fires and a slight hope the house would live but the fire hit hit the water tanks first and drained them off the other side of the hill.
Easier said than done.

It was a great place once. Southern Cali just fucked everything, enviro wackos and such. Wifeanon is the one with the roots there but we have been together over 30 years. Kids grew up roaming that forest every summer. The creek the pond. Grand kids will never know it other than pictures.
