Bought a little boat, 8hp motor, marine gas tank, Fishfinder, trolling motor, 2 life jackets, Trailer, for $1200.
Then Found out the boat had a small leak at base of transom. so I bought some Coat It Epoxy boat "paint" and did the entire bottom and around the transom and ribs/rivots. Also replaced the board on the transom.
I think she'll hold a good while.
I also brazed the hole with a torch and silver solder.
I want to make a hand dolly so I can wheel it into this one lake you cannot drive up to.
Fished it many times. The lake's overflow drain for it gets plugged and floods out a lot. Biggest Crappy ever in it! Dinner plate size. It's about 1/2 mile from where you park. I'm thinkiN on it…
An axle with wheels that hold the ass of the boat up is all you'd need, and then just drag it from the front with some type of waist harness.
