1) Fox confirms USCP officer accidentally discharges firearm in Cannon after 8 am et
No injuries. USCP’s internal affairs is investigating.
Fox is told this happened in a USCP breakroom near the basement, underneath the Cannon Rotunda.
2) Round went through a desk. No injuries. Fox is told this was the officer’s USCP issued weapon.
“This seems hard to do, if you ask me,” said one source about the incident.
