My understanding is that abortion disproportionately affects the black population (after normalization of population etc).
This would be congruent with the notion that a disproportionate number (as a percent of the black population) of black men are incarcerated at any given time. Thus, there are more women out there looking for a mate. Typical population spread is about 51% women to 49% men. Take a grouping now look at it in real numbers:
49K Men
51K Women
*Now add the incarceration factor:
51K Women
5K incarcerated men
44K available men.

That leaves a WHOLE SHITLOAD OF WOMEN more than men in a population grouping. And really when you think about testosterone levels are correlated with crime rates (higher rates of incarceration for 16 - 25 year olds) and then drops over time. So, if you're a horny dumb chick in the hood and you're offering sex, and then some other chick is offering sex without a condom…pretty sure the dumb guy that escaped arrest, is going to be arrested or just got out, is gonna go for sex without a condom.
