The clock stuff is just outlandish and laughable but also somewhat devious in its genius. You see, the more time that passes the bigger the clock gets. As the clock winds more and more and more, more things can be "proven" and "connected". This doesn't mean it's right, it just means if you get a large enough sample size you can invent all the correlations you want.
