Ya know, I was just musing about the two documents, and one book that any learned, sane
person needs to know, especially if one were to know where another is coming from.
Document #1, The Constitution.
First Line, paraphrasing, after all, I was musing:
Our inalienable rights come from God.
Document #2, The Communist Manifesto:
There is no God.
Could there be two more polarizing positions?
The Book: The Bible.
As one is reading the Bible, the words that flow from its pages do not gravitate to the Left, nor do "today's" Democrat Party ascribe to the Good Book based on their policies. Heck, how many times since the 80's have the Dems attempted to remove the word "God" from their platform at their Convention? Is there anyone resembling a "Blue Dog Democrat" in their Party anymore?
I recall a poll a few years ago that shared the percentage of Dems and Repubs that attended Church, it was overwhelmingly 90/10 R v D.
Scripture, when having the book in front of one reading it, is so consistent with the views and practices of Conservatives, and flows naturally to the Right!!
