Update on Democrat charged with 82 felonies and election fraud
"Trey Adkins has been charged with 82 felony offenses, which include numerous counts of fraud, forgery of public record and embezzlement."
"In addition, the jury found that Adkins ordered a road crew to use gravel owned by Buchanan County to repair private driveways."
Appalachia Anon here. I'm from this county. I can confirm with my own eyes that every election year, like clockwork, Trey would come to prospective voters homes and use gravel to fill in their driveway as a "kind gesture." Whether it was "county gravel" or his own personal gravel or not, I don't know and can't speculate. But if the investigator has charged him with embezzlement for it, they seem to have evidence the gravel he was using wasn't his and was bought with county funds.
So essentially a Democrat was allegedly using county resources to "buy" votes by fixing the damaged driveways of poor voters in the community.
On top of the alleged ballot fraud.
