Senator Peters: Since the start of fiscal year 2021, the Border Patrol has encountered more than 900,000 migrants that they have seen once before, but they have probably seen them many, many times.

Senator Portman: The numbers we have are that there are 1.2 million migrants that have received a final order of removal, and we are removing 56,000 a year right now [2021], and that is less than 5%.
