You've got to admit that there's something a bit off about a society that became as liberal as it was. The overton shift is going to be a bit whiplash-y, but… some of it's desperately needed. Nobody in their right mind would ever think that "women's lib" should go so far as to approve post-birth abortions, or acceptance of alt ideology means your kids should be groomed in schools. The people pushing this shit need… something; I'm not a legal person.
Whether you want to believe it was full on "SATAAAAN!" or not, the most powerful country in the world should not be one who's primary export is a culture of pure filth. Culture swinging back right, a bit is a good thing. "Conservative" (however you want to define that) culture is preserving, and law abiding. I don't think anyone can (or should) reason an argument against those things in principle; though I know some folks that'll argue just about anything just for fun. Libertarians or classical liberals, in the meantime, also seem to be winning some victories. So you'll still be able to have fun as an adult while pissing off the squares, just as long as you keep the excesses like marijuana, alcohol, and porn to a minimal. Having said that, it wouldn't hurt conservatives to get nut-checked from time to time, and you better believe they'll be doing the same to Libertarians. At least at this point and time, both groups can look at Liberals, point, and laugh at their obvious stupidity.
