From yesterday, May 5th, 2022:
"Wall comes down on White House lawn and reveals porta potties. Plus riot fences at the Supreme Court"
My goal today was a walk around Georgetown taking in some history and hopefully delicious cupcake from Georgetown Cupcake, but things got all fouled up and I had to go to the Supreme Court where workers installed a new riot fence in the middle of the night and then I was at the White House where the walls came down to reveal a porta potty. I mean, kind of strange day, no?

He is an American expat who spent the last decade in Hong Kong with his family and is now back in Washington DC, continuing his daily ritual of taking very long hikes around the city catching the sights and sounds of the city while live streaming to share with others. History, culture, life as an expat (with reverse culture shock), and the pitiful Chinese food in Washington DC are regular topics of discussion.
