Italy Seizes $700 Million Superyacht Linked To Putin

Italian authorities seized a $700 million superyacht linked to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday evening, saying that its owner had "significant economic and business links" to "prominent elements of the Russian government," according to the NYTimes.

Scheherazade, a 140-meter vessel that boasts six deck levels, two helicopter pads, a swimming pool, and possibly even an anti-drone defense system, showed signs that it was preparing to set sail from the port of Marina di Carrara, on the northern coast of Tuscany.

The Italian finance ministry said an investigation had found the vessel's owner (the ministry didn't mention) "threatened peace and international security." The person also "undermined or threatened the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine."

Law enforcement boarded the vessel late Friday to seize the expensive asset.

Biden Regime Warns Covid Could Infect 100 Million This Fall… Just in Time For the Midterm Elections

The Biden Regime has a new warning for those of us who survived the winter of “severe illness and death”: A new wave of Covid is coming this fall… just in time for the midterm elections.

Without offering up any new data, a senior Biden Administration official on Friday projected 100 million Americans – or approximately 1/3 of the population – could get infected with Covid this fall/early winter if Congress doesn’t provide more funding for vaccines and treatment.

And several so-called ‘experts’ agreed that a major Covid wave is around the corner because of waning immunity from Covid vaccines.

The Washington Post reported:

The Biden administration is warning the United States could see 100 million coronavirus infections and a potentially significant wave of deaths this fall and winter, driven by new omicron subvariants that have shown a remarkable ability to escape immunity.

The projection, made Friday by a senior administration official during a background briefing as the nation approaches a covid death toll of 1 million, is part of a broader push to boost the nation’s readiness and persuade lawmakers to appropriate billions of dollars to purchase a new tranche of vaccines, tests and therapeutics.

In forecasting 100 million potential infections during a cold-weather wave later this year and early next, the official did not present new data or make a formal projection. Instead, he described the fall and winter wave as a scenario based on a range of outside models of the pandemic. Those projections assume that omicron and its subvariants will continue to dominate community spread, and there will not be a dramatically different strain of the virus, the official said, acknowledging the pandemic’s course could be altered by many factors.

Hunter Biden’s Laptop Password Was “AnalF*ck69”

The smartest guy Joe Biden knows…

Hunter Biden’s laptop password was “analfuck69” according to Delaware computer shop owner John Paul Mac Isaac.

The New York Post obtained exclusive excerpts from John Paul Mac Isaac’s forthcoming book, “American Injustice: My Battle to Expose the Truth,” which describes what happened the fateful night Isaac met Hunter Biden in April 2019.

A drunk Hunter Biden drove up to Isaac’s computer shop after spending an evening at a cigar bar and barreled into the establishment clutching three laptops.

Isaac said Hunter Biden reeked of alcohol and slurred his words as he asked for help restoring his laptops.

Isaac powered up one of the computers and asked Hunter for his password – that’s when Hunter started laughing and told him it’s “analfuck69”

Excerpt from The New York Post:

The 13-inch 2015 MacBook Pro was in slightly better shape. It could boot up, but the keyboard was unresponsive. I pulled out an external keyboard and asked for permission to log in.

Hunter started laughing.

“My password is f–ked up. Don’t be offended!” he said, before announcing that it was “analf–k69” or something to that extent. His inebriated condition made it difficult to understand is speech. My eyes widened a bit, and I told him that maybe it would be best if he tried to log in himself.

“Hey, you fixed it!” he stated, slurring slightly. I asked if he had an external keyboard that he could use to get around the failure of his internal keyboard, and he just looked at me blankly.

“Here, you can borrow this one to perform the recovery yourself,” I told him. “That way I don’t have to check it in and bill you. Just bring it back when you’re done.”

It would have been less work for me that way, and again, I felt bad for this guy.

Isaac said he was shocked at the sheer quantity of porn on Hunter’s laptop as he was recovering the files.

That’s when he saw the picture of Hunter Biden wearing a red scarf and a jock strap.

Obama-Appointed Judge Dismisses President Trump’s Lawsuit Against Twitter

An Obama-appointed judge in San Francisco dismissed President Trump’s lawsuit against Twitter for banning his account and other conservative voices, including The Gateway Pundit, from the platform.

President Trump filed a lawsuit against Twitter and its CEO, Jack Dorsey, last year after the social media giant suspended his account permanently due to the “risk of further incitement of violence.”

According to the lawsuit, Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which states that online service providers like Twitter cannot be held responsible for content posted by others, is unconstitutional.

Judge James Donatoof the US District Court for the Northern District of California tossed out this lawsuit saying that “Twitter is a private company, and ‘the First Amendment applies only to governmental abridgments of speech, and not to alleged abridgments by private companies.’”

CNBC reported:

Donato’s ruling comes nearly two weeks after Trump told CNBC he had no interest in returning to Twitter even if his ban were to be lifted by Elon Musk, the Tesla chief whose $44 billion offer to buy Twitter has been accepted by the company’s board.

In his 17-page ruling, Donato wrote that Trump and the other plaintiffs “are not starting from a position of strength” with their First Amendment claim.

The judge noted, citing federal case law, that, “Twitter is a private company, and ‘the First Amendment applies only to governmental abridgements of speech, and not to alleged abridgements by private companies.’ ”

Donato rejected the notion that Twitter’s ban of Trump and the others was attributable to the government’s actions, which would be the only way to uphold the claim of a violation of the First Amendment.

“Overall, the amended complaint does not plausibly allege that Twitter acted as a government entity when it closed plaintiffs’ accounts,” Donato wrote.

The suit also asked the judge to rule that the federal Communications Decency Act was unconstitutional.

The CDA says online service providers such as Twitter cannot be held responsible for content posted by others.

Donato dismissed that claim after finding that the plaintiffs did not have legal standing to challenge the CDA. The judge said the only way they could have such standing was to show that Twitter “would not have de-platformed the plaintiff” or others but for the legal immunity conferred by the CDA when it came to content.

Donato dismissed a third claim, that Twitter had violated the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices again because Trump and the other plaintiffs agreed that California law would govern disputes between Twitter and its users, as Twitter’s terms of service states.

Lastly, the judge dismissed a fourth claim of the suit, made under Florida’s Stop Social Media Censorship Act.

The judge said that only one named plaintiff in the case, Dominick Latella, had an active Twitter account at the time Florida’s law took effect on July 1, 2021, and so is the only plaintiff who could conceivably have a claim under the law.

“There is also a major concern about the enforceability of the SSMCA,” Donato wrote.

“Florida government officials were enjoined from enforcing the SSMCA on June 30, 2021, the day before the law was to take effect, in a well-reasoned decision issued by the Northern District of Florida,” which found the law violated the First Amendment, the judge wrote.

US ‘directly’ involved in Ukraine conflict – Moscow

Washington should be on a “list of war criminals” for sharing military data with Kiev, the head of Russia’s Duma has said

Washington should be added to a “list of war criminals” as it is now directly participating in “hostilities” in Ukraine, Chairman of Russia’s State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin claimed on Saturday, citing media reports about alleged US intelligence-sharing with Ukraine.

US President Joe Biden has told senior intelligence officials that “counterproductive” leaks about data sharing with Ukraine should stop, NBC reported on Friday.

Though there was no official reaction to the report from the US authorities, Volodin took to Telegram to comment on it. “The United States is taking part in hostilities in Ukraine. US President Biden, demanding to stop leaks about the exchange of intelligence information with Ukraine, admitted that Washington had been exposed,” he wrote.

Volodin said that the Ukrainian government, which he described as the “Kiev Nazi regime,” not only relies on weapons from the West, but also on the “assistance of American intelligence forces.”

The Duma chairman wrote that Washington “essentially coordinates and develops military operations” in Ukraine, and is therefore directly participating in the “hostilities” against Russian forces.

“For the crimes committed in Ukraine by the Kiev Nazi regime, the US leadership should also be held accountable, adding to the list of war criminals,” Volodin concluded.

Arizona AG Brnovich Responds to Maricopa Letter Pointing Out Its Flaws But Still Does Nothing

Arizona’s Attorney General Mark Brnovich responded to Maricopa County’s disgusting response to this initial report related to the 2020 Election but then does nothing.

One month ago, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich released his interim report on the 2020 Election. He had held onto this response for months and finally responded to the issues identified and provided to him from the Arizona Senate as a result of their review.

In his response, Brnovich said that his office is still receiving new information and that Maricopa County has still not fully complied with document requests.

Brnovich’s report revealed that “between 100,000 and 200,000 ballots were transported without a proper chain of custody,” and signature verification standards were greatly decreased in the 2020 election. The Attorney General concluded that “Maricopa County failed to follow the EPM procedures when transporting 20% of the early ballots from dropbox locations to MCTEC.”

The Attorney General also found that 381 out of 1,895 Early Voting Ballot Transport Statements were missing required information such as ballot counts, audit signatures, courrier signatures, election department receiver signals, and documentation of security seals.

This is inconsistent with the Verity Vote investigation findings, which used public records requests for all ballot box retrieval and chain of custody forms utilized in Maricopa County during the 2020 General Election. This investigation found that Maricopa County failed to record the number of ballots on 1,514 out of 1,895 unique EVBTS and failed to record signatures on 48 of these documents.

Of course, there was much more not mentioned by Brnovich. Dr. Shiva for example identified 200,000 ballot signature issues per his expert analysis in 2021. There clearly is enough evidence to decertify the Arizona election from 2020 where Biden was given the win by 10,000 ballots, but Brnovich won’t even suggest this should be done.

On Wednesday, Maricopa County held a meeting and provided a response to Brnovich’s report. Their report was nasty. Brnovich responded to this report yesterday.

Georgia Governor Kemp, Who Signed Off on Corrupt 2020 Election Results, Brings on Former VP Pence Staffer to Help with His Campaign

Georgia governor Brian Kemp has brought in former VP Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff, Marc Short, to aid with his campaign.

Despite signing off on the corrupt Georgia 2020 Election results, Mike Pence’s former Chief of staff Marc Short has decided to join Governor Kemp in his effort to win the governor’s race in Georgia.

Far-left Axios reports:

Marc Short, former Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff, has joined Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s campaign team as a senior adviser, Axios has learned.

Driving the news: Former President Trump has endorsed Kemp’s re-election challenger, former Sen. David Perdue. Kemp is leading the polls in their May 24 primary, though, and Short has been brought in to turbocharge the governor’s national fundraising ahead of a potential general election re-match with Stacey Abrams.

Dr. Peter Navarro knew Marc Short and claimed he wasn’t a good guy. Now we see more evidence of this being the case.

We also reported that Short apparently held secret meetings with scarf lady, Dr. Birx, during the COVID campaign. No wonder Navarro didn’t like or trust Short.

Kemp, on the other hand, has not only signed off on the 2020 Election results, but he has increased his net worth while in office by $3 million. This was on a governor’s salary.

Afghanistan's supreme leader orders women to wear all-covering burqa in public, Taliban chief insists it's 'better' females stay at home

The Taliban ordered women in Afghanistan to wear the all-covering burqa in public for their "safety." Afghanistan's supreme leader and Taliban chief also advised women to stay at home.

At a ceremony in Kabul, Taliban authorities announced that women wear a burqa that only shows their eyes as ordered in a decree by Hibatullah Akhundzada – leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

"They should wear a chadori (head-to-toe burqa) as it is traditional and respectful," the Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice declared. "Those women who are not too old or young must cover their face, except the eyes, as per sharia directives, in order to avoid provocation when meeting men who are not mahram (adult close male relatives)."

"We want our sisters to live with dignity and safety," said Khalid Hanafi – acting minister for the Taliban's vice and virtue ministry. "Islamic principles and Islamic ideology are more important to us than anything else."

France 24 reported, "Akhundzada's decree also said that if women had no important work outside it was 'better they stay at home.'"

Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported, "Women have also been ordered to visit parks in the capital on separate days from men."

There were similar restrictions for women during the previous Taliban regime in Afghanistan. However, the Taliban promised a softer, more globally acceptable government when the militant group took over the country in August.

Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said in August, "Women will be afforded all their rights, whether it is at work or other activities, because women are a key part of society. And we are guaranteeing all their rights within the limits of Islam."

Shortly after the Taliban recaptured Afghanistan in August 2021, the hardline Islamic government abolished the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and reinstated the all-male Ministry for Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. When the Taliban controlled Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001, the morality police was integral in implementing an extremist interpretation of Sharia – the Islamic law.

"There is no better symbol for the disappearance of women's rights in Afghanistan than the end of the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and the return of the Ministry for Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice," Human Rights Watch reported last September. "To add insult to injury, the Taliban government handed over the women’s ministry building to be the new home of the vice and virtue ministry."

In March, the Taliban decided against reopening schools for girls above the sixth grade – breaking an earlier promise.

Israel's boy

Sen. Marco Rubio Introduces Bill to Fast-Track Arms Sales to Taiwan

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) has introduced a bill to fast-track arms transfer and strengthen ties between the U.S. and Taiwanese militaries to equip the independent democratic nation against any possible attack by Beijing’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

The “Taiwan Peace Through Strength Act of 2022” (pdf) requires the U.S. Department of Defense to conduct an annual review of U.S. war plans to defend Taiwan and bans U.S. defense contractors from doing business in China.

It also prioritizes arms sales by U.S. defense contractors to Taiwan ahead of other countries, regardless of which nation put their order in first and seeks to “replace outdated language” in the Taiwan Relations Act about “arms of a defensive characteristic” to enable sales for products that would deter conflict with the Chinese regime.

The act also aims to strengthen high-level military planning and set up a comprehensive joint training program that would lead to achieving interoperability between the two country’s militaries.

Although the Chinese regime is caught up with internal concerns, namely locking down millions as it pursues its COVID Zero policy amid outbreaks, Rubio said an invasion of Taiwan “could happen within this decade” and the country needed America’s support.

“Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is not the first time an authoritarian regime invaded its neighbor and, unfortunately, it won’t be the last,” Rubio said in a May 3 release.

Disney Funds An Organization That Sexualizes Children Beginning In Kindergarten

Walt Disney Company has repeatedly donated to an organization that infiltrates public and private schools with LGBT ideology, according to Disney’s Pride Collection webpage.

Disney announced that it donated a portion of its 2022 “Pride Collection” funds to the organization GLSEN — pronounced “glisten” — among other global LGBT organizations. In 2020, Disney announced that it would donate $100,000 to GLSEN. Disney’s 2022 funds will reportedly create new LGBT-oriented programming.

Disney’s PRIDE page dubbed GLSEN a leader in “educational equity” and stated that the organizations have collaborated “for more than 20 years.”

GLSEN is the touchpoint between political activism and LGBT activism in K-12 public and private schools. The LGBT organization crafts school policy guides, curricula and teacher training for schools nationwide, according to an analysis from Parents Defending Education.

Lesson plans developed by GLSEN are created for students as young as kindergarten. Programming encouraged young children to discuss their identity, gender and race.

GLSEN advocates for an array of left-wing issues including transgender issues, “gender-affirming” care for young people, the Equality Act, and rewriting Title IX to include gender identity. GLSEN’s Executive Director Melanie Willingham-Jaggers called schools a “breeding ground” for activism.

Despite Disney’s 20 years of fealty to GLSEN, Willingham-Jaggers condemned CEO Bob Chapek for remaining silent over Florida legislation that prohibits public school curricula from including topics of sex in grades kindergarten through third-grade.

“We have an expectation that those we partner with would not work against us, but the silence against this hateful bill from Disney CEO Bob Chapek until public pressure forced a reaction speaks volumes and we are angry and deeply disappointed,” Willingham-Jaggers said.

18 Los Zetas Members Sentenced to Mexican Prison for 2010 Massacre

A Mexican judge sentenced 18 members of Los Zetas cartel to various prison terms for their roles in a 2010 massacre that left at least 193 victims dead and their bodies buried in 47 mass graves.

This week, the Second Federal District Judge in Ciudad Victoria handed down sentences to the 18 cartel members. The sentences ranged from 58 years to 14 years in prison for various crimes including kidnapping, engaging in organized criminal activity, and illegal possession of firearms. The members of the cell took various roles in the kidnapping, murder, and disposal of migrants and other victims of the criminal organization. This cell was under the orders of currently jailed leaders — regional boss Salvador Alfonso “La Ardilla or Squirrel” Martínez Escobedo, regional boss, Omar Martin “Kilo” Estrada Luna, and plaza boss Ricardo “El Coyote” Palomo.

The most famous killing carried out by the criminal organization took place on August 22-23, 2010, when the cartel members killed 72 migrants on a ranch near San Fernando. The cartel left the bodies piled up in a warehouse.

The case against the cartel members stems from multiple killings starting in the summer of 2010 when Los Zetas established a series of clandestine checkpoints along highways in the state. The cartel members stopped passenger buses and vehicles. The members of the cell would also keep tabs on the local bus station in the city of San Fernando where they would kidnap migrants. The gunmen took the migrants to a location known as the “Vulcanizadora” in the La Joya neighborhood. In that spot, the cartel members would torture and kill migrants who refused to join their ranks or anyone they suspected of being part of their rivals, the Gulf Cartel.

The unnamed judge handed down the biggest sentence of 58 years to the leader of the cell Juan Pablo Cabrera Escalante, known as Comandante Cacharpa. A woman known as La Guera Jovanna Susano Cruz received a sentence of 57 years. The following group received a sentence of 43 years: Julio César “Chimuelo or Sami” Lugo Chaca, Sergio “Diablo” Córdova Martinez, José Mauricio Oñate Rodríguez, Samuel Moreno Saavedra, Rolando Coronado Uñate, Claudio López López,Mauricio Rodríguez Cervantes, and Santitos ”Santos or Chacho” Reyes Villa Olvera. Several other members received shorter sentences – the shortest being 14 years.

After the August 23 massacre in San Fernando became known, authorities began searching several rural areas and found 47 mass graves with 193 bodies. Many more clandestine gravesites are believed to exist that have yet to be found. Los Zetas carried out numerous similar but lesser-known massacres in other places like Nuevo Laredo and the state of Coahuila.

‘Unprecedented’ Bird Flu Epidemic Ripping Through Canada

Canadian poultry farmers are facing fear and stress as a highly pathogenic strain of H5N1 avian influenza is currently circulating in both wild and domestic flocks across North America.

According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency poultry and egg producers in Canada have lost more than 1.7 million birds to avian influenza since late 2021. That tally includes both birds that have died of the virus and birds that have been euthanized.’

David Hyink, an Alberta chicken farmer, checks his barns each day with a sense of trepidation. He knows if the disease were to turn up on his property, it would mean the loss of his entire flock.

Avian influenza has a high mortality rate, and those birds at outbreak sites that don’t die from the disease are humanely euthanized to prevent the spread of the virus.

“While we haven’t had it on our farm, and I hope we don’t, it just appears it could be anybody,” Hyink said. ”It could be us next, the farm next to us, you just don’t know.”

Alberta is Canada’s hardest hit province with 900,000 birds dead and 23 farms affected. Ontario is the second hardest hit with 23 affected farms and 425,000 birds dead.

Outbreaks of the virus have turned up now in every province except Prince Edward Island. Across the country, farmers are being encouraged to keep birds indoors, restrict visitors and ramp up biosecurity measures to help halt the spread.

The virus can be spread between birds through direct contact, but it also spreads easily from wild bird droppings and can be carried into commercial flocks on the feet of workers or on equipment.

While avian influenza was first detected in Canada in 2004, this year’s strain — which has also been wreaking havoc in Europe and Asia — is ”unprecedented” in terms of its global impact, according to the CFIA.

The new strain is highly transmissible and appears to be sustaining itself within wild bird populations. While there’s some hope that case counts might decline when the spring bird migration ends in June, for now, farmers are left wondering where and when the next outbreak will happen.

“You just don’t know, and you do the best you can,” Hyink said.

While farmers who lose flocks to avian influenza are eligible for government compensation, the disease has still caused significant disruption for industry, said Jean-Michel Laurin, chief executive of the Canadian Poultry and Egg Processors Council.

Laurin said consumers have not been affected by any shortages, as the Canadian supply chain as a whole for eggs and poultry is holding up well. Part of the reason for that, he said, is that unlike in the U.S. – where massive industrial scale barns are much more common, meaning an outbreak at one property can take out an enormous amount of supply – Canadian chicken barns tend to be smaller, family run operations.

Health officials say that while avian influenza can occasionally cause illness in humans, it is rare and would be the result of close contact with infected birds or heavily contaminated environments.

‘Immigration Isn’t Something the Police Really Deal With’ Say Cops Refusing to Reveal Nationality of Paedophile ‘Luton Man’

Bedfordshire Police have refused to disclose the nationality of convicted paedophile Zakei Ciurar, described as a “Luton man” by the press, telling Breitbart London: “Immigration isn’t something the police really deal with.”

Ciurar, 29, who groomed his 13-year-old victim via social media and attempted to hush up her parents by offering them money, was convicted at Luton Crown Court of “three counts of sexual activity with a child, two of which involved penetration”, according to a Bedfordshire Police news bulletin.

The force made no reference to Ciurar’s nationality or immigration status — if any — however, with local media merely referring to him as a “Luton man”.

While he may be a British citizen, mainstream media outlets have sometimes used descriptions like this to avoid mentioning the migration background of foreign criminals. Eltiona Skana, an Albanian failed asylum seeker who slit a seven-year-old girl’s throat in a public park on Mother’s Day, was repeatedly referred to as merely a “Bolton woman” by the BBC, for example.

They initially claimed to this reporter that they “refer to ethnicity, race or sexuality only where we believe there is a direct relevance to the case in hand,” but a subsequent report did admit her background in its very last paragraph.

In hopes of clarifying Ciuraqr’s background, Breitbart London asked Bedfordshire Police to confirm his nationality and immigration status, but was told to “speak to immigration” — presumably a reference to the Immigration Enforcement agency of the Home Office.

The force was asked why they could not disclose the paedophile’s nationality themselves, given they investigated and arrested him and saw through his conviction alongside the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) — prompting the astonishing reply that “[i]mmigration isn’t something the police really deal with.”

The force’s anonymous spokesman added that they “wouldn’t be able to pass any info we hold anyway due to data protection.”

Breitbart London questioned this, given they had published his address (Hitchin Road, Luton), age, and photograph on their website, but the spokesman insisted they had “given the relevant info” — i.e. nothing — and indicated that they would not correspond on the matter any further.

Luton Crown Court and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) were also asked to clarify Ciurar’s nationality, but neither had responded as of the time of publication.

Danish Plan to Send Migrants to Rwanda May Be Thwarted by European Court

A German migration expert has cast doubts on Denmark’s plans to send asylum seekers to Rwanda, warning that the policy will likely be scrapped by European judges.

Migration expert Franck Düvell has claimed that Denmark may not be able to carry out its policy of sending asylum seekers to Rwanda to await their asylum process decision as it may be a violation of the European Convention on Human rights.

Düvell stated that the idea of exporting asylum seekers to third countries is not a new policy but said that it was unlikely such a policy would manage to pass the European Court of Human rights and not be struck down, the European Union-funded website InfoMigrants reports.

There is also the possibility, InfoMigrants notes, that the United Kingdom could be prevented from sending asylum seekers to Rwanda under its own plans, as the country is still a signatory to the European Convention on Human Rights enforced by the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) despite leaving the European Union.

The EU demanded that Britain remain subject to the European Court of Human Rights as part of a Brexit deal with the country — despite the fact the ECtHR is technically not an EU institution — and Prime Minister Boris Johnson submitted to those demands.

Düvell is not the first to be sceptical of the British deal with Rwanda, as Brexit leader Nigel Farage stated last month that he did not believe the deal would be a long-term solution to the issue of illegal boat migrants crossing the English Channel.

“If — and I really mean if — within the next week we start seeing planeloads being taken to Rwanda, that may well act as a short-term deterrent. After all, why would you pay a criminal trafficker 3,000 euros, 5,000 euros if you thought immediately you would be sent to Rwanda?” Farage observed.

He added, however, that he did not think the plan would work, as it is “difficult to think of a country with a much worse recent human rights record than Rwanda and it’s only a matter of time before we start to get stories from camps in Rwanda about abuses of all kinds and that would lead, I think, to some sense of international outrage.”

While there have been reports that some migrants in France are concerned over the Rwanda deal, with some claiming they may start looking to claim asylum in another country, boats have continued to arrive in the United Kingdom.

Last Sunday, over 250 migrants crossed the English Channel in small boats, suggesting that, at least for now, they remain undeterred by the Rwanda scheme.
