Think Strategically, the only thing helped by term limits would be the DS.
Constantly we hear the misinformed cry for term limits to be codified into law.
The Powers That Be (PTB) desperately want to have term limits codified into law. This would make their planning and execution of their take over agenda so much easier and their goals obtainable on a much more orderly schedule.
If only they could have clarity that every political candidate would expire on a defined term, they could plan the identification and grooming of a string of appropriately compliant (i.e. corrupted and/or blackmailed) candidates to meet each future election without having to expend any effort to destroy the candidacy of any true patriotic, organic, statesman/woman that the populace might have elected. They could/would, years in advance, create favorable impressions in the public subconciense of their desired candidates for the next election cycle(s) well before their last minion's term was up. No organic citizen trying to run for the RIGHT reasons would stand a chance against the deliberately crafted paragons of manufactured virtue that the PTB had, months/years earlier, carefully branded and packaged in preparation for the next election cycle. They would be shoe-ins and completely unaccountable to the electorate.
Bottom line is we ALREADY HAVE term limits dammit…it's called VOTING. What actually needs to be codified into law are mechanisms to ensure that voting is free of fraud.
If, by chance, we DO get a genuinely good person into a position of power, I want them to stay their to do good work…and to be responsible to the electorate if they don't. Not be arbitrarily term limited out so a hand crafted minion can take their place and further the agenda of the PTB.
