In South Africa they're replacing landlines with "fixed-mobile" connections! Shittest quality! They wanted to change mine so I put an ADSL on it which they can't do over the "wireless last mile" Worked fone until they rolled out fibre. Now I have VOIP on the fibre. Much better than the shitty cellular service here!
