How long ago was that? At 5 yrs. old we had a fire drill at elementary school. I though, that was a good idea. Let's take a non-emotional good look at this race Rich Strike (don't forget his jockey) put on. Towards the end of the final turn Rich Strike was in 17th place in the middle of the pack making his move weaving through the horses in front of him. (there was 50 seconds left in the race).
22 seconds later he's in 13th place at the beginning of the home stretch and Rich Strike has picked up his pace, he's passing horses, weaving left and right, like they are standing still. (there was 28 seconds left in the race.
15 seconds later he's in 3rd place having moved to his right to pass a horse and then had nothing in front of him but the finish line. (there is 13 seconds left in the race.
13 seconds later he crosses the finish line winning by 3/4th of a length. Anon ain't never seen anything like it.

I've heard that before, that there is an conspiracy, that the race was rigged. Yes, we anons have seen so called conspiracies more times than anon can count, but….this is not one of them. Just watch the 50 second video again. If it was fixed like you say, no way is the horse going to be in 17th place with 4 horses in front of him, and then 13 horse pack.
No, this horse and jockey won fair and square. As I said: It's a sigh of the times. Meaning:It is indeed happening.
