Make a bunch of videos to get everyone riled up
Cops investigate and discover it a hoax
CNN uses it to tar all further mentions of human trafficking as an extension of the hoax.
That sounds like just the kind of thing They would do. It would be prudent to let this play-out a little more before hoping onboard.
The name "Maddie" in the camp actually works against the credibility. It's too obvious of an emotional trigger.
The do believe in God, but publicly and loudly claim to be atheists as an deliberate affront to him.
These pics (and any other interesting videos) should be distributed far and wide in encrypted form without necessarily telling us what the files are. Then, when it's imposable to censor it, the passphrase is released.
