Ya know

the formation of the United States was a huge leap for mankind.

When I hear people complaining that this or that was wrong,

and that it didn't include everyone

and all those arguments about slavery and injustice

you have to think

we were lucky just to get our foot in the door to freedom.

It didn't automatically free the slaves

but it didn't automatically free the rest of the people, either.

There was still an immense amount of work to do

to construct a free society with real control of their lives.

We have been in a revolution from July 4, 1776.

We are STILL fighting for our freedom, and always have been.

There were times that were more tolerable than others,

but we have been fighting for our lives at every step.

When we don't obey

they bankrupt Wall Street.

Ya, they sow and they reap at will.

We are still fighting the East India Company.

We are still fighting the forces that want to control us and our money.

The revolution NEVER ENDED.

I'm going to have to dig out my Constitution.

I have been confused about something.

We have a House of Representatives

who are "supposedly" farmers, businessmen, leaders of communities – to go to DC to state our case for the people.

We want something done, or changed, we send them.

Then there is the Senate

who are sophisticates in the law

who can take the demands of the people

through our representatives

and formulate the legal implications into law.

Why is it that the Senate wants to act like Congress? act like they can determine what the people want or need.

methinks – that is not their intended job.

They must follow the intent of Congress

not hop on that horse and rule the roost !!

Am I lost?
