What was the purpose of posting the radio text? Did I miss something previously posted on the board? I was all stoked about seeing the radios. Please give more info on why the radios and the text were posted.
The photo of the radios posted last bread are not the same as these. Usednover the same network, but different radios.
Yes they do. But the Harris radios are updated with some cooler features. But, both comm securely over the secure net in the clear, or in freq hopping secure mode.
In that pic, the radios are, "stacked." It allows the operator more frequency options (like being able to listen and change CB radio channels quickly). The other Anon is correct. This setup allows the radios to connect to the Blue Force Tracker for more operational options. But, at their basic level, they function on the secure net just like their predecessors.
