Psaki: The Biden/Harris administration will continue to monitor this situation, and identify other ways we can support the safe and rapid increase in production of baby formula.
Reporter: When will parents be able to get the formula they need? What is your best sense as when store shelves will be stocked again?
Psaki: The reason we are here is because the FDA took a step to ensure that babies were taking safe formula. There were babies that died from taking this formula…we're going to cut every element of red tape we can cut, we're going to work with manufacturers, we're going to import more, to expedite this as quickly as possible.
Reporter: What is the administration's guidance on the immediate steps they [those needing formula] should take? Is there a hotline they can call, should they take the baby to the hospital? What should they do?
Psaki: Those are important public health questions…we would certainly encourage any parent who has concerns about their child's health or well-being to call their doctor or pediatrician.
Reporter: [can the White House say] if any taxpayer dollars paid for these crack pipes?
[proven to be in kits by Washington Free Beacon]
Psaki: No federal funding has gone to that…this policy does not allow for crack pipes to be included. This is a bit of a conspiracy theory that's been spread out there; it's not accurate…money is not used for crack pipes.
Psaki: NATO is a defensive alliance. NATO has no aggressive intent against Russia, nor does the United States.
[100% demonstrably false]
