Thank you for imagining and then speaking anons into existence before setting even the first star in the sky. Thank you for continuing to guard our hearts from the clever and deceptive darkness that daily makes attempts to dim our light. Thank you for every catastrophe you have prevented, those we can see and those we will never know happened. Thank you for gracing us with the improbable chance of life at all, and the entire spectrum of uniquely human experiences, both delightful and horrifying. Help each of us remember who we are in you. Give us eyes like yours and a heart like yours. Encourage us to always seek wisdom and truth. Help us fight the sneaky, demonic instinct toward self-righteousness, even as we encounter clearly lost, ignorant, and misinformed humans. Instead, remind us to pray. We love you. And we are sorry for all the mistakes we make by thinking, saying, and doing stupid things. We are also embarrassed and sorry for all of the divine things we didn’t think, or say, or do. Keep watch over us, stand next to us, live in us, as you have done since before time. Yay, You!
