What shocks me is that these healthcare workers wouldnt just quit their job when they knew they had to kill people. And you still hear it today, a doctor didnt want to quit job pr lose his/her career so they eauthanized people instead.

My sister in law has been a nurse all her life, it was really her calling, she never lost her love and caring for people. Many of the nurses get corse and hard.

You are probably right the one time I was admitted for an unknown fever on infectious disease (which I didnt have) the nurses were some of the most callous people I’ve ever seen or interacted with. They would br extremely loud at night and I couldn’t get anyone to answer so i had to drag my intravenous cart down to the front desk to get help.
The nurse that came in the morning waa shocked but not surprised. This was the floor that people could die easily.

Wow, it doesn’t surprise me, I saw that in the hospital when my Dad almost died. They put him so far away from the front desk it would have been impossible to save him. My sister made a big fuss and told them they had to move him nsxt to the front desk, only then did they really take care of him
My sister in law said many of them lost all care for people after years of seeing the pain and suffering. I personally think they went into the profession for thr wrong reasons and were never suited for it
