Repeatedly repenting for the same item means that you don't trust that your Father forgave you and that you didn't forgive yourself.
If your Father forgives you, who are you to defy His Will that your item is now removed as far from you as the East is from the West?
Build that trust.
It may help you to explicitly plead the blood of Jesus over an item; in the Courts of Heaven, there is no higher plea.
