This should explain why as something as trivial as a shortage of say baby formula can easily be capitalized on by so many disparate DS members at once. They could easily say "We have to change the news cycle, we are going to have an egg shortage due to swine flu" next thing you know, all their cronies are on board through their private apps are ordered to stop ordering eggs. You as the consumer think it is real when in reality, they haven't lost a dime by killing any chickens, they raise your prices to counter, and they win.
