Yeah, Fuck AJAC ( Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee). They are a fraud apprenticeship program that lowers the bar for apprentices which results to the ultimate demise of manufacturing. They turn out shitty apprentices to push the need for automation since they pass everyone in the name of inclusion and for funding purposes. Lots of refugees (non citizens) getting funded through their programs
Probably. IAM district 751 union helped organize AJAC. Regardless of what is said they have an affiliation with the union. AJAC does pre apprenticeship also which has a program for incarcerated youth. These programs are held at technical colleges, one of which is Bates technical out of Tacoma. What they don't tell you is some of the incarcerated youth are YSO ( Youth sex offenders). They follow zero protocols and help shorten sentences for the accused. It's all a ridiculous scam
