Judge Rules Parents Have 'Fundamental Right' to Drug Kids With Puberty Blockers And Cross-Sex Hormones

Trump-appointed US District Judge Liles Burke on Friday blocked part of Alabama's anti-transgender mania law by insisting that parents have a "fundamental right" to drug their children with puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, which he called "medications" that are "well-established, evidence-based treatments for gender dysphoria in minors."

The law, signed by Alabama governor Kay Ivey in April, also designates the prescribing of puberty blockers or hormones treatments to minors as a felony punishable by up to ten years in prison. Under state law, a minor is defined as any resident under 19 years old.

U.S. District Judge Liles Burke ruled on Friday to allow the prohibition on gender-transition surgeries to remain in effect but granted a temporary injunction to block the sections of the law banning prescription of puberty blockers and hormone medication, in response to a lawsuit.

Parents "have a fundamental right to direct the medical care of their children," Burke wrote in his opinion. "This right includes the more specific right to treat their children with transitioning medications subject to medically accepted standards."

Burke explained that "the uncontradicted record evidence is that at least twenty-two major medical associations in the United States endorse transitioning medications as well-established, evidence-based treatments for gender dysphoria in minors."

Burke allowed another part of the law to remain in place, which bars teachers and other school officials from concealing a student's transgender status from his or her parents.

All that's missing is Burke celebrating drugging kids as "one of the blessing of liberty."

Some groups view smoking weed as medicine. Same goes for magic mushrooms. Do parents have the "fundamental right" to drug their kids with those drugs, too?

The side effects of pot and magic mushrooms are far less than the permanent damage that can come from puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.

The "major medical associations" endorsing trans-mania are run by leftist quacks and it's the job of the government to keep their lunacy in check.

Instead, TruCon judges like Liles Burke, Neil Gorsuch and John Roberts are running with it and inventing new "fundamental rights" to justify child abuse.

Davos Great Reset: French Prez Macron Declares Modern Capitalism ‘Can No Longer Work’

At the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) virtual Davos Agenda summit on Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron declared that in the wake of the Chinese coronavirus modern capitalism “can no longer work”.

Appearing before a question and answer session conducted with ‘Great Reset’ architect and founder-chairman of the WEF, Klaus Schwab, Mr Macron said that while capitalism has historically driven down poverty globally, he claimed that it came with the cost of furthering inequality.

“We will get out of this pandemic only with an economy that thinks more about fighting inequalities,” Macron said.

“The capitalist model together with this open economy can no longer work in this environment,” he added.

The French president pronounced that capitalism has resulted in a “deep moral and economic crisis” in which “hundreds and thousands of people throughout the world had this feeling of losing their usefulness.”

Macron said there were “two kings in this system—shareholders and consumers,” and that capitalism has failed to support labourers and has been detrimental to the environment.

Mr Marcon — who has been seen largely as an economically neo-liberal leader — went on to claim that the world needs to “move beyond” the hostility towards state intervention into the economy and that companies must be bound by the responsibilities of alleviating economic inequality and reducing their alleged impact on the climate.

He argued that for the “economy of tomorrow” to succeed, businesses must balance competitiveness with fighting supposedly man-made climate change and reducing Carbon Dioxide emissions.

Macron went on to express his gratitude for President Joe Biden’s decision to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords — which the United States left under the leadership of former President Trump — yet called for leaders to “revise upwards” their green agenda goals.

The so-called “clinical trials” that Pfizer conducted on its messenger RNA (mRNA) Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccine” appear to have been completely fraudulent, which means the company could one day be held liable for all associated injuries and deaths.

Documents released in November 2021 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as part of a court-mandated information dump reveal that enrollment at one particular trial site happened at warp speed, just in time to meet the safety deadline for the FDA’s VRBPAC meeting on Dec. 10, 2020.

This meeting is where the FDA discussed granting Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer-BioNTech injection in people 16 years of age and older. (Related: The contents of the Pfizer jab were recently shown to “stick” to bodily organs.)

“The allegedly suspicious-looking clinical trial data surrounds ‘the biggest recruiter by far,’ site 1231 (site 4444 was assigned site id 1231) in Argentina,” reported Undercover DC.

“Adding to the confusion, in five short days before the safety deadline (including a Sunday, 9/27/20), the trial recruited 1,275 of the 4,501 people using site number 4444. In just three weeks, the site recruited 4,501 patients – 10% of the entire trial at one site.”

“Overall, Pfizer rapidly recruited roughly 44,000 people for their trial, which took place at 152 locations worldwide and was overseen by numerous investigators, including Dr. Fernando Polack, who led the Argentinian study at Hospital Militar Central.”

Senior Zelensky adviser: 40 ‘Jewish heroes’ fighting in Mariupol steel plant

David Arakhamia, head of Kyiv’s negotiating team, says Azov Regiment has no ties to extremism, as Ukrainian forces hold out in besieged Azovstal complex

A senior aide to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that there are dozens of Jewish soldiers fighting in the besieged Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol.

“There are about 40 Jewish heroes protecting Azovstal now,” David Arakhamia, the adviser in charge of Ukraine’s negotiating delegation, told The Times of Israel on Friday.

Arakhamia also heads Zelensky’s ruling Servant of the People party in parliament.

One of the Ukrainian units still holding out in the steel plant is the Azov Regiment, a formation that has been accused since its formation in 2014 of associations with neo-Nazi ideology. These claims have been central to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s justification for the invasion of Ukraine, having said at the outset of the war that Russia’s goal was to “demilitarize and de-Nazify” the country.

The unit was absorbed into the National Guard in September 2014, and Ukrainian officials are adamant that the regiment has been thoroughly professionalized and politicized.

Arakhamia forcefully denied the Russian allegations of neo-Nazism in the Azov Regiment. “Those accusations are absurd by default,” he declared. “Many people know these soldiers and find these accusations offensive.”

McConnell urges Biden to name Russia a state sponsor of terrorism

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Sunday urged President Biden to name Russia a state sponsor of terrorism, which would lift sovereign immunity protections shielding the country from being sued for civil damages.

“I think it’s a good idea, and I would support that,” he told reporters during a press call from Stockholm. “The president could do it on his own, and I would urge him to do it.”

McConnell made his recommendation to designate Russia a sponsor of terrorism after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday. Three other Republican senators, Sens. John Barrasso (Wyo.), John Cornyn (Texas) and Susan Collins (Maine), also attended the meeting.

McConnell said he assured Zelensky that “support for Ukraine in this war against the Russians is bipartisan” and that the “overwhelming majority” of national security-minded Republicans support the Ukrainian resistance to the Russian invasion, despite recent criticism of a $40 billion Ukrainian aid package by prominent Republicans such as former President Trump and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.).

“This naked aggression must not stand,” McConnell said. “I wanted to assure them that within the Congress there was very, very broad support for continuing the fight.”

The GOP leader made his comments after Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) introduced a resolution last week calling for the designation of the Russian Federation as a state sponsor of terrorism.

The bipartisan measure would call on Secretary of State Antony Blinken to put Russia on the list, where it would join Cuba, North Korea, Iran and Syria.

Recently departed White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters last week that the U.S. had already imposed crippling “economic sanctions” and “sanctions on individuals,” rendering Russia “a global pariah” but added that “we’ll see what happens in Congress.”

The United Nations human rights office estimated at the beginning of May that more than 3,000 Ukrainian civilians had died since the start of the invasion, but some experts think the death toll is much higher from indiscriminate Russian shelling and bombing.

Some of the most graphic images of war crimes came from Bucha, a town just outside Kyiv, where the bodies of civilians were found shot execution-style with their hands tied behind their backs.

Israeli Warplanes Launched 22 Missiles During Last Attack On Syria, Most Of Them Were Intercepted

Israeli fighters jets launched 22 guided missiles during the May 13 attack on Syria which targeted key military research and development facilities, Oleg Zhuravlev, Deputy Head of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, revealed on May 14.

“On May 13, between 20:25 and 20:32, six F-16 fighter jets of the Israeli Air Force launched 22 guided missiles at facilities of the Syrian Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC) in the [town of] Masyaf and Banias Port, without entering Syrian airspace,” RIA Novosti quoted Zhuravlev as saying.

The SSRC is Syria’s main military research and development body. Israel targeted several facilities of the SSRC over the past ten years.

According to Zhuravlev, Syrian air defense systems intercepted 16 of the Israeli missiles and managed to shot down a drone.

The Israeli attack claimed the lives of three air defense servicemen and two civilian workers of the SSRC. Two soldiers were also wounded as a result of the attack along with five civilians, including a little girl.

This was the second confirmed Israeli attack on Syria in less than a week. On May 11, a series of Israeli missile and artillery strikes targeted a network of observation posts and positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the southern governorate of al-Quneitra.

Israeli attacks on Syria have claimed the lives of at least 15 service members and civilians since the beginning of the year.

The growing human losses have led to calls for revenge by many in Syria. Despite this, the SAA will not likely retaliate any time soon due the fragile economic, security and humanitarian situation in the war-torn country. Damascus have been prioritizing its internal issues since the outbreak of the war.

Fugitive Australian journalist Shane Dowling (me) has been on the run since the 3rd of September 2021, in Queensland, from an arrest warrant issued by Justice Kelly Rees in the NSW Supreme Court on behalf of Kerry Stokes’ Seven Network and Seven West Media. Given that, it should be no surprise that Australia has dropped from #25 to #39 in just 12 months on the World Press Freedom Index.

This should be an election issue as the federal government has terrorised not just whistleblowers over the last few years but has also targeted journalists who are meant to keep the government accountable.

The Index is from Reporters Without Borders which issued a press release a few days ago that starts off:

Press freedom is fragile in this island-continent of 26 million people, where ultra-concentration of media ownership, combined with growing official pressure, endanger public-interest journalism.

Two giant firms dominate the media landscape, making Australia’s media landscape one of the most concentrated in the world.

The executives of the big media companies maintain close ties to political leaders, which fuels doubts about the editorial independence of the outlets they own. In 2021, a Senate committee confirmed the existence of a growing culture of secrecy by the administration vis-à-vis the press, of informal pressure not to reveal certain matters, and of intimidation of whistle-blowers under the pretext of protecting national security.

Australia has ratified the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Many of the country’s states and territories ensure protection of press freedom. However, Australia’s Constitution does not contain an explicit clause to this effect. This causes growing problems, especially because some states are showing draconian tendencies concerning the free practice of journalism. Reporters Without Borders never surveyed me and I wonder how many independent journalists they surveyed because I have no doubt the situation in Australia is much worse than their index ratings say.

It must be noted that Australia has also dropped in global corruption rankings. The Conversation reported in January 2022:

In a worrying sign, Australia has plummeted in Transparency International’s latest Corruption Perceptions Index – the world’s most widely cited ranking of how clean or corrupt every country’s public sector is believed to be.

In the 2021 index released today, Australia has repeated its largest-ever annual drop – falling four points on the 100-point scale, from 77 to 73. Zero is considered highly corrupt, while a score of 100 is very clean.

Overall, Australia has dropped 12 points on the index since 2012, more than any OECD country apart from Hungary, which also fell 12 points. Australia’s rate of decline is also similar or steeper than other countries with far worse issues, including Cyprus, Lebanon, Syria and Venezuela.
