Aldrin was related to some cabal. His entire story is a farce to throw people off.
The Cold War (imo) created a big slush fund for the "race". That race included one to space, which never happened. Why is the thing I'm unsure of. To me, it seems more realistic we never went to space so the cabal could pocket the billions invested.
