Black police officers shooting more blacks may simply be because they know that some blacks are indeed criminals and aren't controlled by the "muh racism" programming.

They are out looking for a black criminal. They know that plenty are armed and will shoot you, probably even because they grew up in such a neighborhood. I doubt many shoot, because they are racist, but because of good reason. Sometimes they have a few milliseconds to react and if they react badly, they are dead.

May also have to do with black police officers more often active in black neighborhoods and thus more likely to encounter black gang members, who are armed and often will shoot police, because duh they are criminals.

Are there stats on how many white and black police officers get killed every year and by what perpetrator?
