I’m back. It’s not easy carrying six whole meals and sauces. They forgot the bread. Small victories, I guess.

Everyone is talking about the election again. Legacy talk seems to have dwindled to the thought that any other reason would come back to the election anyways, which might open Biden and Harris up to legal issues.

Hunter and his issues are being discussed over the food. Potential excuse for resignation, but it doesn’t seem like anybody is taking this idea seriously.

It’s been brought up that Biden might have a chance to “preserve his legacy” by taking “the high road” and resign due to “revelations about the election.”

Everyone seems to agree that if Biden resigns under the flag of hindsight, he can slip out without bringing light to either Ukraine or his son.

Now they’re talking about how they can spin it against the media for the election issue. They wonder if they can push all of the blame on the election on the media as a worth while reason to resign.

They know more than I do on the whole legal problem with the states. My parents are from a state that always chooses red and their county was solid blue this year. Never happened before.

Dinner is wrapping up and I think they have made their decision. Everyone agrees that at the end of the day, the elephant in the room is the election. Avoiding it might be worse than spinning it.

Hold on. They’re starting to put together their brief. Have to pay attention on notes carefully. Will post soon.

Briefing complete. I’ll sum it up.

The election will be the reason for resignation.

Biden will claim that recent revelations about the election have warranted his resignation.

Kamala will be with him when he signs his letter of resignation and will follow. He will try to say that he will leave office with dignity and respect, “unlike Trump who would never.”

The date of signing will be Biden’s to choose. Everyone agrees that it must be done before Durham finishes or the resignation would not stick in the public psyche as a buyable reason for resignation regarding the election.

I’ll get back after I get a bathroom break and eat the rest of my salad.
