Is there any way around the "receive text message" bullcrap to get on TruthSocial?

When email was verified, it said a SMS or whatever code was being sent to phone. Only have a flip (NO google & crap, very basic brwoser, made n Japan phone) for calls when needed. Do not, and will never text. Years of seeing zombies walking, driving, and at work doing this shit convinced me that it was yet another nail-in-coffin of Human Interaction. Asked sibling a few years ago why they never return (voice) messages or acknowlege birthday wishes and what-not, as they never answer their phone. Was told "Wanna talk to me, gotta text". Said "nice knowing ya" and have been estranged ever since. NO love lost.
