The polls opened on time in Bucks County at 7 a.m. But, thousands of voters again this year have chosen to skip the polling place and use the state's no-excuse mail-in ballot process. By Tuesday morning, voters had returned more than 43,509 ballots of the 60,284 the county sent out, according to the Bucks County Board of Elections Office. Voters can also return those mail-in ballots today at drop boxes set up around the county.
