Take a dabb, that's just as far as what they admit. They twist the explaination to mean they use the cells to reverse engineer flavor-receptors for development of flavors that humans would like.

 

How does a dead cell, cloned many times over tell scientists that a live human would find a substance yummy?

 

Also, the next step is to open the pandora's box of what it is that constitutes 'natural flavors'. Before 2011, each ingredient used in a food product had to be listed on the product's label. After Starbucks had lobbied congress, they made it possible to hide ingredients under the category of 'natural flavors' if that ingredient was used as part of the products flavoring. Anything that could be imagined can be lumped into 'natural flavors'.

 

Once the masses realize this, torch and pitchfork stocks will shoot through the roof.
