Any anons that can lend credibility to this?
This info was relayed to me from someone I trust that is close friends with the source. The source is the owner of a large food distribution company located in the south. Just a heads up, I do not know the source nor do I have additional sauce.
Claims the DOJ has been looking through the books of his company and other distribution companies for the last year investigating the larger processing/packaging companies for price gouging/fixing. The source sts these are baseless claims from government agencies and that over $250mil collectively has been spent by the large produce/processing/packaging companies in legal defense to fight off the government throughout this investigation. Two of the larger companies decided to cut their losses and walked away from the industry. The source believes this is intentional and one of the many ways the government is deliberately disrupting the food supply chain.
There are some big claims which should be easy enough to research to either validate/discredit the information provided. I will dig around and report back but in the mean time if anyone has relevant info on this, please drop it here.
I did watch that video regarding chicken farm that supplies Walmart and their lack of new egg orders while their shelves lay void of eggs, this seems to be on par with everything happening to our food supply.
