SUPERMARKET SADIST Chilling CCTV shows bow and arrow maniac stalking Co-op Extra store in rampage that killed five

CHILLING pictures and video emerged yesterday of the bow and arrow bloodbath launched in a supermarket by a crazed killer.

Footage was released at the start of trial of Espen Bråthen, 38, showing him running amok with the weapon in a Co-op Extra store in Kongsberg, Norway last October.

The white-vested maniac bursts into the store brandishing his bow and launches a quickfire barrage of arrows at innocent shoppers.

Unstable loner Brathen’s spree - in which he also used hunting knives - killed five victims and wounded two, including a police officer hit by an arrow in his back.

Asked by a judge for his plea yesterday, Brathen replied: “I admit guilt.”

The court heard he stalked the streets of the city with 80 arrows and several knifes - but all five of his victims died from stab wounds.

He is also accused of the attempted murder of 11 people using his bow and arrow.

Twisted Brathen told the court he thought he was going blind and then decided to go out and kill while he could still see.

The maniac said he believed he would be reborn again and enjoy a better life if he killed.

He said: “I got the idea that in order to be born again, in a good place, I had to kill. I thought, now I can go out and kill before I go blind.

VLADIMIR Putin has unleashed his 'TERMINATOR' military tanks in to battle in Ukraine as Kyiv continues to batter invading Russian tanks with British missiles.

Video has emerged showing armoured vehicles, sent in by Putin, which are designed to support infantry units fighting in urban areas, in the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine.

The deployment of the BMPT Terminator comes as Russia's invasion of Ukraine has taken a heavy toll on Putin's main army tanks.

The T-90M tank has been no match to the Ukrainian troops as they continue to get obliterated by them with rockets.

Ukraine confirmed this week that forces had destroyed Russian tanks deep behind enemy lines in the Donbas region using British-made Brimstone missiles.

A defence source told state news agency RIA Novosti: "They are involved in the fire destruction of Ukrainian positions, armoured vehicles, and crews of anti-tank missile systems."

Russian war reporter Alexander Sladkov posted: "Thank God we are starting to use Terminators.

"There might be issues and mistakes, but practice is everything."

THE Queen was all smiles as Top Gun movie star Tom Cruise got her 70th Jubilee celebrations off to a flying start last night.

Her Majesty, 96, put her health woes behind her as she stepped nimbly and unaided out of a Range Rover on to the red carpet at Windsor.

US screen idol Tom, 59, said at the star-studded TV event: “What she has accomplished has been historic.”

Her Majesty raised the nation’s spirits last night as she appeared at what was the first major event to mark her 70th anniversary on the throne, the The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration on ITV.

She used a walking stick but looked relaxed and at ease and was given a round of applause by the audience.

Top Gun actor Tom Cruise, 59, was among a galaxy of stars who appeared on the extravaganza.

They included Dame Helen Mirren, who played Her Majesty in 2006 film The Queen, Billions actor Damian Lewis, Bridgerton’s Adjoa Andoh — and TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh.

Tom was swamped by surprised fans as he walked through Windsor before the show.
