That is pretty much exactly wrong.
People do care about murdering babies and about the sexual mutilation of children and will freely choose to suffer economic pain if that is what is needed to do the right thing.
This is even true on the crazy wrong side.
Pro-abortion people and pro-trans people care more about this than economics.
Some people wish these issues would go away, but they are basically sleepers who hope they will be eaten last.
I'll take a stab at explaining the pro-abortion women.
The whole issue of course is driven by women.
Pro-abortion "men" maintain their position to curry favor with the pro-abortion women (or to be able to sleep around with impunity).
These women have been told that what matters in life is having a "career".
They end up seeing no hope at all for finding a man they love and marrying and having children.
It is literally incomprehensible.
But they deeply, deeply desire human connection, and they see the only way to get it as sleeping around.
If they don't "put out" pretty soon they will blow their shot.
But they know it is "risky" and they might get pregnant via the "wrong" guy.
That's why they demand the right to kill the babies.
But the basic problem is that they have been told that what really matters is the "career" and yet they don't internally believe it.
As for trannies, most of them are being horribly manipulated by others.
Civilization will be completely destroyed if we don't stop it.
They have a hard road ahead once they realize how they have been horribly abused, and I have empathy for them, but they must stop guiding others down that same hellish path.
