Far-Left Twitter Hack Behind Site’s New ‘Crisis Misinformation Policy’ Blocked the Hunter Biden Laptop Story, Called Trump Officials “Actual Nazis”

Twitter on Thursday announced it will put warning labels on tweets that contain so-called ‘misinformation’ in a time of war, natural disasters or pandemics.

Yoel Roth, the woke, far-left hack behind the new policy to suppress conservatives, has a history of attacking Trump and he even blocked the Hunter Biden laptop story in an effort to influence the 2020 election.

The Free Beacon reported:

Twitter’s pick to stop the spread of misinformation in times of crisis has a history of pushing falsehoods.

Yoel Roth, the head of Twitter’s safety and integrity unit, unveiled the site’s “crisis misinformation policy” on Thursday. In a blog post, Roth outlined how Twitter will place warning labels on tweets deemed to contain misinformation and prevent them from being “amplified or recommended” in times of armed conflict, natural disasters, or public health emergencies.

Roth is a questionable pick to launch the policy, given his own track record with misinformation. Roth oversaw Twitter’s decision to block the sharing of an October 2020 New York Post report on emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop. Roth told the Federal Election Commission he made the decision based on “rumors” shared by the United States government’s intelligence community that the Russian government might release materials hacked from Hunter Biden.

Roth previously ‘fact-checked’ one of President Trump’s tweets with fake news.

Yoel Roth previously said there are “actual Nazis” in the Trump White House:

"Utter Nonsense": Hawley Eviscerates Energy Secretary For Blaming Inflation On 'Putin Price Hike'

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) ripped into Biden's Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm on Thursday after she tried to blame soaring inflation on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Hawley asked Granholm whether she thought the rising price of gasoline was "acceptable," to which she said "it is not, and you can thank the activity of Vladimir Putin for invading Ukraine, and pulling–"

To which Hawley said "With all due respect, Madame Secretary, that's utter nonsense," adding "The average gas price in my state was $2.07. Eight months later, eight months later, long before Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine, that price was up over 30%, and it's been going up consistently since."

"What are you doing to reverse this administration's policies?" Hawley asked, to which Granholm replied: "It is not the administration policies that have affected supply and demand."

Hawley didn't let her get away with it - shooting back: "From January to August, the price of gasoline was up 30% in my state alone. It's been a continuous upward tick since then. And here's what your president did when he first came to office; he immediately re-entered the Paris Climate Accord, he canceled the Keystone pipeline, he halted leasing programs in ANWAR, he issued a 60-day halt on all new oil and gas leases and drilling permits on federal lands and waters - that's nationwide, that accounts by the way for 25% of US oil production, he directed federal agencies to eliminate all support for fossil fuels, he imposed new regulations on oil and gas and methane emissions.

Those were all just in the first few days! Are you telling me it's had no effect?"

Visualizing the "utter nonsense"…

“The Government Got Us Into The Problem. You’ve Supported the Elites. You’ve Pumped Up the Balance Sheet of the Federal Reserve” – Steve Bannon Goes Off on Mika and Joe

Steve Bannon went off on Mika and Joe, the two-morning hosts who have pushed the corrupt Democrats and Globalists and are now suddenly shocked that the economy is in tatters. These people don’t care about the American people, they care about power.

Steve Bannon this morning went off on the elites and globalists. American moms don’t have a formula for their babies and the globalists are sending billions to Ukraine. US politicians are so out of touch that they have no care or concerns for American families while they bail out Ukrainian billionaires.

Bannon shared:

The government got us into this problem. You supported the elites. You pumped up the Balance Sheet of the Federal Reserve. Don’t you understand? Where’s Alabamy Joe? Didn’t he explain anything to you about the economy? The people that you’re the running dog for, and your show’s the running dog for. All you big talkers on Morning Joe and MSNBC and the New York Times, you brought us here. You brought us in this path of destruction that’s going to wipe out a generation of wealth.

And any person under 40-years-old that votes for these people, you deserve what you get. If you want more of it. If you want to nothing but a Russian serf. If you don’t want to own anything, you just want to be on the treadmill and now your credit is going to explode so you can barely meet ends meat. You’re not going to own anything. But unlike what the World Economic Forum says, you ain’t gonna be happy about it.

Epic unemployment insurance fraud during pandemic is still being stonewalled by State of Illinois – Wirepoints

How unemployment claims were mismanaged during the COVID pandemic is shaping up as a historic fiasco. It’s therefore no surprise that the State of Illinois is stonewalling the facts about its share of the problem so aggressively.

Nationwide, the scope of unemployment insurance fraud during the pandemic is stunning. Estimates of how much state governments wrongly paid out during the pandemic reach as high as $400 billion, which is fully half of the total $800 billion paid out, as reported by NBC. The latest official estimate is $163 billion lost to fraud, which is from the U.S. Department of Labor in March.

Illinois’ share of that loss to fraud is unknown because the state won’t tell us, but it could easily be $6.5 billion, which would be its share of the Labor Department’s estimated loss. As far back as June 2021, the Chicago Tribune reported that “if the amount tracks with national estimates, it could involve billions of dollars.”

For months, some Illinois reporters have hounded the responsible Illinois agency for answers. That’s the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES). But neither it nor the Pritzker Administration has provided any useful answers on how much was lost, why or how it can be stopped in the future.

The most recent chapter came last week in a Freedom of Information Act response by IDES reported by CBS Chicago. “The agency has historically refused to publicly disclose the scope of pandemic-related unemployment fraud,” CBS said, and it FOIAd for tracer reports on one particular slice of the fraud story, which is known payments to legitimate recipients that somehow got intercepted by fraudsters. CBS had to go to the Illinois Attorney General to force an answer out of IDES, and the response showed at least 1,000 records of intercepted payments.

That’s as if IDES merely threw CBS a bone. It tells us little because we have no idea how many other instances of intercepted payments occurred or how much fraud in other forms occurred, such as by claimants who were fictitious to begin with. And the CBS Chicago FOIA request only covered the period from March 1, 2021 through Nov. 30, 2021 — a timeframe in which in which CBS says “IDES sources said they began to see fraud numbers spike.” Why CBS would trust IDES on that is a mystery since the entire point is that IDES either doesn’t know or is hiding fraud numbers.

Some other states have been far more open about efforts together to get to the bottom of pandemic unemployment fraud. In Ohio, for example, the state’s top auditor estimates their fraud losses at about $5 billion and says openly, “The system failed at almost every conceivable level.” California publicly posts its data on estimated losses and other unemployment fraud data.

But in Illinois, we get almost nothing. About the only number IDES and the Pritzker Administration have provided is their unverified claim that they stopped some one million fraudulent claims. That’s nice, but what matters is how many they didn’t stop, how it happened and how to fix it.

The biggest reward that will come to states that have been open and honest about the fraud problem is that they likely will better control it the next time an emergency demands massive unemployment assistance. In Illinois, we can expect mistakes to be repeated.

Chinese developer Sunac defaults as Beijing struggles to save the trillion-dollar sector

About a year ago, Chinese billionaire Sun Hongbin was certain that his luxury real estate company Sunac China would never "bomb".

Last week, his firm,= — China's third-largest developer — defaulted, missing the deadline for coupon payments on a $US742 million ($1.1 billion) offshore bond.

Unlike Evergrande, which defaulted in December last year, Sunac appeared to be financially healthy and the boss, Mr Sun, had previously been diligent in repaying debts.

He even repaid some of the company's debt out of his own pocket, Chinese media reported.

Betty Wang, senior China economist from ANZ Research, said Sunac's default was "another blow to the fragile property sector".

"The shock to the market confidence, especially in the private sector segment, was quite big," she told the ABC.

"If people regarded Evergrande as an extreme case, it should not be happening to many other developers, especially those with relatively healthy financial performance.

"There are a lot of downside risks in the economy."

A 'white knight' in trouble

While the Hong Kong-listed company has apologised for the default, it said it could miss more deadlines in the coming year.

"Given the group's current liquidity constraints, there is no assurance that the group will be able to meet its financial obligations when due or within the relevant grace periods," the company said in a statement.

The company also asked the creditors to give it some "time to overcome challenges" while it makes efforts towards "accelerating sales and payment collection, disposing of assets, seeking debt extension, and introducing strategic investors".

Independent candidate to challenge AEC rule

Independent candidate for Kooyong Dr Monique Ryan has backed a federal court challenge – over an AEC rule preventing some Australians infected with COVID from voting.

Thousands of people who tested positive before Tuesday face being denied the right to vote –unless they applied for a postal ballot before the Wednesday cut-off.

Lawyers for the Kooyong candidate will argue the rules breach an implied right to vote in elections.
