If only Vigano would be as honest about Church history and traditions as De Rosa. The office of the Papacy has a thoroughly evil past and is built upon lies, fraud, and deception.
For example, the "Donation of Constantine", already mentioned, was used by the Papacy to convince the Kings of the Earth to give them power but it was later proven a complete forgery.

Was this fraud (which carried on for centuries), perpetrated by a modernist, or a Mason, no it was a deception from the popes of Rome, whose lies are now unquestioned "traditions" to many.
Instead of defending the office of the papacy and trying to put a more conservative pope in the chair, "faithful" Catholics should undo their original mistake and follow Christ instead of the popes.
The office of the papacy is none other than the office of Pontificus Maximus, transferred into a synarchy that attempts to combine Christianity with the pagan mystery religions. It is a twisted theocracy, a religiopolitical control system designed by the Emporers of Rome, not Christ. It was an attempt to unite the empire with a "shotgun wedding" between pagans and Christians, for political expediency, a sacrifice of truth for the sake of unity.
That is why there is always an esoteric meaning to their symbols for the occultists they harbor, and an exoteric meaning given to those under the illusion that they represent Christianity.
For example, the pagan obelisk sitting in Vatican Square, inside a giant pagan sun wheel.
It was built in Heliopolis, Egypt, in 1835BC to honor the sun, and moved to Rome in 37AD by Emperor Caligula (Pontificus Maximus). It was erected near the Circus of Nero on the grounds of what is now the Vatican. Pope Sixtus V (Pontificus Maximus) had the obelisk moved 800 feet to the square by the Basilica of St Peter, AND PLACED IT INTO A GIANT PAGAN SUNWHEEL.
Christians are told (exoteric) it was put there to honor the martyrs, including Peter who they claim was the first pope, showing the Church triumphed over paganism. However, the adepts know the esoteric meaning, and their paganism is enshrined in the "Church", such is the duplicity that must at all times prevail in order to make the synarchy work.

"Only by understanding what the church was can we understand what it is today. Pope Gregory
VII, for example, in the eleventh century, instituted an entire document-forgery factory in the Vatican-to
prove that the pope could not make a mistake, that he could depose kings and princes at will, and that he
was necessarily a saint.
Other popes were certainly not saints, The Borgia pope, Alexander VI, in the 1400s, had a stable
of mistresses, a litter of illegitimate children, and a penchant for murdering cardinals for their money.
Borgia popes bred Borgia popes: Alexander’s son and grandson both ascended to the papacy. The
grandson was such a libertine that women pilgrims were warned away from the Holy See, lest they be
raped by the pope.
The Church has a long record of anti-Semitism. Popes in the Borgia era created a ghetto for the
Jews, required them to wear distinctive yellow hats whenever they ventured out, and even forced them to
pay for the wall surrounding the ghetto.
The Holy Fathers could be more vicious toward those among its own who opposed the power of the church.
Innocent III murdered far more Christians in one afternoon than any Roman emperor did in his entire reign.
Popes reintroduced torture into the judicial system.
And more recently, within the last century, popes have called religious freedom madness, free
elections godless, and a free press tantamount to atheism."

I remind you this was written by a highly educated Catholic who took an honest look at the history of the institution he grew up in and where it derived its power.
“Thus down the ages, millions suffered and died. Bad art and disastrous theology had prepared the way for Hitler and his ‘final solution’.”
