Ancient people that did sacrifices usually looked for a pure, unblemished victim. I'm certain those same rituals were brought forward through history.
Assuming there are people that 'know' they could be sacrificed at any time, do they tattoo their bodies to protect them from being sacrificed?
Tattoos are very common amongst actors, entertainers and sports celebrities. Are they doing it to protect themselves?
Are babies chosen because they are unblemished?
