yes sir. these are TX deer. South Texas has some real monsters but those midwestern bucks are something else. the biggest B&C deer taken off my family ranch scored 185. not too shabby for west central TX

I shot mine in the gut and thought I had missed. Was with my dad. We had built a brush blind the night before and sat in it the next morning. Froze my ass off. I was so mad because I thought I had missed but my dad knew I hit it because he knew the difference between a hit and a miss. We walked around for about an hour and finally found it. Then I cheered up a little. lol
